Ah yea, that's a burst laser system, it charges up and fires in large bursts to pierce deeply into armor, even through smoke.

Wait, hold up, small missile turret?

The only missiles on this thing are on the fighters, and the interceptors underneath the ship, where do you see small missile turrets?
