If you installed it and now can't load your game if you try to get rid of the mod, send all your cars to depot and sell them. Save the game. Click 'load game' and disable the mod.

If done right you should be able to get rid of the mod and still keep your savegame.

Don't subscribe to this (or rather the vehicle patch it depends on).
This mod is outdated and will break vehicle upgrading and mail vehicles.

Same, no mail trucks. I thought I got something wrong and also did some research for better cars but they also don't have a mail variant.

Sadly it's not possible to remove the mod mid-game. :x

Please update for compatibility with mail trucks!!! ive only got the ford right now and i would quite appreciate having the mercedes because it fits alot better as a runabout.

I'm hitting an exception buying trains with this mod in the latest version of Voxel Tycoon:

@oitisim для третього рівня в мене наразі є мод на Сканію. Він не заміняє стандартні вантажівки, але дає можливість перевозити оптимальніше (з причепами). З початку війни я на службі тому раніше перемоги оновлення можно не чекати. Але в загальних планах є охоплення всіх стандартних вантажівок і автобусів.

Нам потрібно більше причепів, зараз катаюсь лише на 1-му дизелі, 3-й не може зрівнятися з модом. Чекаю на оновлення

It is fine. By trashing the whole convoy it works fine. As I said before, thanks for the great mod, it just makes me happy to see the trailers on the road :D

That's a limitation of the game: Game shows you only vehicles with same couple type. And there is a unique couple types for each era (to prevent attaching trailer from one era to truck from other). So there is no way to fix this for now

Update: I found a walkaround: while setting up the replacement you have to TRASH the whole convoy and then you will be able to select other types.

Thanks for the great mod! It seems that autoreplace is not fully working with trailers. Any truck that has an attached trailer will have limited options to replace, and never across fuel options (e.g. diesel to gasoline). I tested with the buses and it is working fine, so I imagine it has to do with trailers.

Log trailer for basic truck seems to create script error after opening truck window, if the truck have attached log trailer.

Just FYI: the gasoline tanks on at least some of the trucks glow in the dark (definitely the first tier diesel ones do, ie. the LP1620s, and the LP1632 tractor).
I don't think that's intended, and no, I don't have the nuclear industry mod installed either ;)

Interesting issue I ran into... I had the above error . I had been playing with the trailer mod for days before it finally gave me the error. I did not know what it was so I did the "remove/re-add mod, verify game files, reboot, and reload the mod" method.. which didn't work until I finally came here. Works now.. Except now I have to research trailers for each truck type again., Otherwise I cannot add a trailer. BUT, and here where it is interesting...Until I finish unlocking them all again, I can just clone an existing truck and trailer I have and then reassign it. So... No big hurry. LOL

@Oldhard There was a mistype in patch for MB LP-series truck puck. Fixed, update is uploaded.

Also there is ingame trouble with patching .carricepe files, soo that's why you see two almost same trailers for diesel 1 MB LP Stake truck. Take a close look to a wheel of trailer, and chose right for your truck.

About only one trailer available: Game automatically shows you only trailers, that fit to truck, that you already chose. There no cross-level attaches available.

Update, renaming the file works , just make sure there is only one (all lower case), ie. remove the original zh_Hant.strings, or move it somewhere outside the Steam directory structure,

Nope, that didn't help. Mod is broken for me, both with existing saves as well as new worlds :(

The error message is about a missing localisation file,


Can't load asset
trucks_with_trailers/zh_hant.strings

Trying to load non-existent asset data:
/home/user/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/workshop/ontent/732050/2459361870/localization/zh_hant.strings.

The issue here is that the file is called "zh_Hant.strings" instead of "zh_hant.strings"
As a temporary fix, I'll see if a simply copy of that file, renamed as all-lower case works (I suspect it will).

Same here.

I suspect it's the newly required compatibility mod that breaks existing games.
Would have been nice to split the update into its own separate mod...

Thanks anyway, love the trailers, so I guess I'll bite and see if installing that dependency helps.
