To be fair the blank pop ups are a pretty simple fix. Amazing that otherwise this mod should work even after so long. Would love for a standalone update but totally get it if you're not feeling that Rodahtnov.

After the upgrade to 4.0 an empire using this origin starts with consumer goods losses, but that disappears after a month.

Apart from that, there is the matter of the insidious blank popup that appears on a daily basis, pausing the game every time. These bugs or whatever are affecting other origin mods as well.

Thanks for the replies, Some form of prompt on how to continue the mission would be awesome. Even something simple like a pop up when you colonise the world telling you there's a vault there similar to the one on your home world (If there was such a pop up I must have missed it) would be nice.

The mission in the situation log just continually pings the other system and a random planet in that system (Which for me was a gas giant) so I was unsure if there was a mod conflict or something I had missed. But opening the vault pushed the event chain forward.

On a side note I started near a Techno-Organic world (I don't recall if the world itself is from another mod or is vanilla, I know I have a mod installed that allows me to select the Techno-organic world as an origin but I digress) which has a separate event with something called Unit 04. Which while unrelated felt like it fit the theme of the synth-grown origin well.

I take it I need to open the vault in order to progress? If that's the case I feel kinda dumb for not figuring that out.

Not sure if I've messed something up or whatever but I'm playing the second dawn origin, got the event to go to the original two systems. First system had a synth grown world in it. No anomalies or anything found. Second highlighted system has no colonisable planets in it, no events, anomalies or archaeology sites.

Situation log is still pointing me to the system I control and hasn't progressed any and there's no obvious was of progressing as there are no anomalies, events or archaeology sites to research, no planet to colonise or anything.

Would be grateful for any tips on how to progress the event.

So I'm a bit stuck and I'm not sure if it's due to a bug or other mods I'm running. I'm on the Missing Link part of the story, at the point where I need to scan the 4 planets, but one of them is behind an enemy's borders.
Do I need to fight them to get a science ship over there? I noticed the text after completing the scans of the other planets seems to imply that I can do something to the planets I have scanned, but I haven't seen any new options on these scanned worlds.

That would be great if you could. It would be especially poggers if you could also ask him to consider updating the origin to include the new Espionage mechanics. Making infiltration more powerful, maybe giving bonuses to subversive ops like smear campaign, or making it more potent. Basically I want to RP a Subversive Cult tearing the galaxy apart and his origin, updated to match the new espionage stuff, would be perfect for that. Thanks for your consideration.

Hey @MayhemX8, what you are referring is probably "Behind the Scenes" by Complex, who won the contest; i don't know, i know freebooters and caretaker were taken respectively out by their authors, and we will try to update the modjam mod soon (tm) (nemesis is getting us busy with other mods xD), ill ask him anyway!
