The only still flying F2G-1 Corsair ("Super Corsair") is actually owned by a guy near where I live, he flys it overhead sometimes and the sound of it is unique and pretty awesome.

i don't know why, but i love the idea of planes in space. This looks like something that should have been in the space battleship yamato anime.

@GamerZero I played some Wing Commander titles and I saw the movie but I never had a game console (after Atari & Amiga), so I don't know Defender

My dad is a huge aviation and scifi nerd. This mod made him finally play/dive way too deep into Space Engineers. Thanks for costing me my mother's love. lol.

Thanks again for all the comments! I don't know if I will be able to build all of the planes you wish for but I will definatley try to make a few more!
Some planes are easier to build than others, depending on the shape of the plane. Some angles are difficult to build in SE. So I will have to experiment a bit and see what I can realize.

I think I speak on everyone's behalf, you should take World War 2 planes and create them in space versions. Like the Focke Wolf, P-51, and P-47. We all support you!

Thanks to you all! Glad, you like the plane!

I just updated it. Added wing tip lights (red/green, off by default) and grouped all three thruster types and added them to the plane's menu bar, so you can turn them on and off separately.
