It only changes one file (the main hud layout file, "hudlayout.res"), so it should be compatible with far more mods than the other versions (but not all). Make sure this addon appears above whatever custom hud you'll be using in the addon menu, since higher addons overwrite any overlapping files in lower addons. That way if the hud you're going to use also changes hudlayout.res, it will use the hudlayout.res from this mod instead (which isn't guaranteed to look good).

Also, what custom huds did you have in mind?
