@19CelticLions67 Paint.net was only a temporary solution at the time. Do you have access to Photoshop? If so, then use the Intel DDS addon so that you can open and edit the DDS files without any problems.

Putting the 2 at the end of dds just doesnt let you open it on paint net and when i open the base colour file without the 2 it doesnt look right on paint net

@19CelticLions67 I've published an older guide where I listed all important folders and paths for retexturing. Most textures however, you'll find in the variantdds.pack

See to customize the colours what folder has all the characters in cause i cant find it because i want to change all wei characters to the colour blue so changing cao cao from that purple to blue
