Hi, I didn't test all my maps with friends yet after western fronts release but in all of them (except 2) I use the popcap script I found on, coh2.org . The ones I tested, I encountered sync errors when playing with US troops not when playing with the old factions. It can only be the popcap script then. But before western fronts release these popcap scripts worked fine. I also just copy and pasted them so a comma error can't be be made by me. Anyway, this map is to large to play with just a popcap of 100. I'll leave the popcap as it is, we know that playing without US troops is fine.

I read that this could also be caused by a syntax error, for example, a misplaced comma.

Thx for feedback. If Relic introduced a bug that produces sync errors with their western fronts release, in this case with the US faction, they'll probably patch it out later. Nothing I can do about it. At least you can play fine with the other factions. :)

Ps: Playing this map vs AI only (without people) with US factions or one of my AI teammates as US, plays also fine. Tested it ;)

We play versus the AI only. We can play the map successfully if there are no USF. However, humans playing USF or AI playing USF results in a sync error shortly after game start. Hope this helps.

Hi, still sync error playing with people ? I just played an other game vs AI. I didn't encounter a problem. I can try to change the script again using a fixed popcap of 200. Playing with and vs AI never gave a problem. Edit: Just updated the map with a new script

New update. Changed the script to get rid of the sync error while playing a game with people. Removed the ability for buidling campfires as this might have conflicted with the rest of the script that allowed the change in popcap.

Played a game with friends yesterday, Americans + okw included ... still sync error. :(
Don't know what causes it as I adjusted the starting points to fit US bases. Before western fronts came out this map worked fine. Vs and with AI ( American + okw included) this map still works fine without sync error. So playing with the AI this map can still be enjoyed.

The map produces a sync error whenever playing with US Forces. I presume that is due to the starting points issue as has been reported for other maps. Thought that you would like to know. And this is our favorite map of all time!!!

Hi ISANA, that's because this map was one of the first that I fixed. I fixed this the 24th of june just after the western fronts came out. :)

I may update this again tough as a lot of trees were removed because of that (and some base starting points doesn't fit US bases very well). I can put other trees to replace the ones that were removed

For the moment I am fixing my other maps first. Removing the yellow boxes (the trees that relic removed from worldbuilder) was just a quick fix.

i cant see any yelloow boxes ,as i run the new westfront vertion after i updated my app 2 the latest ..... huuuuuuuuuaaaaaa,how could it be ,,or smthing i mistook ?

New update. After recent huge (4+gb) update from relic some trees and the supply centers in the bases had to be removed as they appeared now in the game as yellow boxes. :(

@ TrisXD. Maybe restart steam you should be able to see it.
@ Gelaktronikz. Well .. I think that when playing as axis I encountered su85s and as Soviets panthers. Maybe try a harder Ai like hard or expert. I guess if you beat them up to fast they don't get to tier 3 :)

Well, I could have converted the original coh1 operation goodwood map but the addition that porta brought to the map like houses in the mid of the map and walls and a few farms near the base from player 5 I liked that, also the starting positions are not bad :). Most of the map is still as the original goodwood map made by Relic tough. The terrain (hills etc) most of the houses roads etc are untouched by porta and by me.

Hi, Relic did a great job with the terrain in my opinion and I think that trenches on this map would spoil it. I am adding more walls and other cover at the moment tough besides the lots of cover that is already there. Let the infantry take cover :)

First update is here. I missed this map in coh2. The terrain is very well done. Perfect for ambushing, fighting for every piece of the map, cover everywhere great for defenders and great for attackers. Fun fun fun. I am thinking of making a winter version of it with blizzards.

An update may be expected. After opening the coh1 map in the coh2 worldbuilder a lot was messed up like missing or wrong starting positions from players, bushes that were put in bunkers or seemed to be growing through rocks, entrences from fences at wrong places the terrain had to be redrawn (repainted) vp points that were flying in the air etc. So after playing a while I noticed some small stuff that I missed to correct. :p
But its not gamebreaking. The important stuff is done.
