Why aren't there colored circles above units in the game so we can identify whose units are which? When we used to play this wonderful mode, everything was great, but now something's wrong with it, and battles have turned into uninteresting meat grinders where it's not even clear whose units are which. And it's not just me; friends on servers have the same problem

I don't have a clip of it happening, no. But my teammate flipped the ready switch as I was pulling out one of the crystals to go re-roll it. The timing is probably quite precise, but very possible.

Hi! Really enjoyed your gamemode. However, on higher resolutions (I'm running the game at 1440p) the mob info box is cut off and overlaps with other UI elements. Here's a screenshot:

Also, I can vouch for the previous glitch, I was in the same lobby. But ignore the complaint about the 3 teams. He lost and blames it on being spawned between two other teams. skill issue

It is possible to remove a crystal/cube from the machine which sets them on your team while another teammate pulls the "ready" lever. This breaks the entire gamemode completely, as missing a crystal causes nothing to spawn and there's no "abort" round command which I'd recommend adding, if possible. Likely a bit hard though.

Hope this gets fixed, as it's pretty fun (even if unavoidably ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ when playing with 3 teams)

this is likely caused by sv_playerpickupallowed somehow being set to 0, likely from another addon. i've pushed a fix that should set this convar to 1 when the game starts

yeah it's a known issue, next planned feature is a stalemate mode which should resolve this, fixes for now are starting with more points. this is just a hl2 thing unfortunately :/. thanks for the report

it appears that headcrabs cannot kill each other, this can be a fatal flaw considering that the 1st tech level is predominantly headcrabs and headcrab variations which makes the possibility of a stalemate in early rounds highly likely.

When you press your team button your model randomly changes, or you can use the outfitter/wardrobe addon. If you do sv_cheats 1; stsgod 1 in console you should be able to use your context menu.

It's not something we've really thought about doing because we're not even sure what we would do for a 1 person mode, maaaaaaaaaybe we could add an AI team but it's not likely.

Development was transferred to me because the original author got busy and could rarely find the time to work on it. Additionally, he got bored of the project altogether.

The responsibility of development has been transferred to solely me. College is rough and doesn't leave me any time to work on the gamemode. I have things planned but do not know when I will be able to work on them.
