Is there a possibility to get your cherno Ravage mod updated?

Scenario starts. Birds-eye view of rain falling on Livonia.

I have a large monitor, so, set to music, this can be quite restful.

After about 1/2 hour of watching rain fall on the Livonian countryside (set to Mozart), I finally ctrl-alt-deleted out to the task manager (all other controls being frozen) and was able to exit the scenario by exiting the game.

Top marks for your fine Livonian screensaver.

I think alot of features are not working like progression, npc trade, base building, perks.

I have no idea if Clash is still around but does anyone know if the redux of Vandeanson's Apocalypse works with this instead of just having to use the outdated version?

For the man who made them all, I have probably put in at least 600 hours to your scenarios since some time in 2020 I think. Literally have played them all and have come back to them time and again over the years. I fired them up for the first time in a long time recently and am finally having to give up on finding hacky solutions to keep playing them anymore. Thank you so much for the effort you put in, thanks for the fun times and best Arma3 'DayZ' scenarios I got to play. Good luck with the studies and I wish you nothing but the best for the future.

You have no idea how many hours of joy, fear, rage, and just fun you have given us.

For those who can't get past the broken camera, you need a mod called MCC. Once in the scenario and stuck on the camera view enter zeus mode [default Y key] and then exit it. Open your chute but you won't be able to do anything else yet. Back into zeus teleport the player to the ground somewhere by opening the map right clicking and teleport zeus somewhere. Reopen mcc and select some random AI unit, click on one of the individuals so they're highlighted and 'Hijack' them [bottom right on mcc panel]. Scroll and go back to player. You are now playing.

HOWEVER.

Due to updates to the game, and this scenarios dependencies, you will no longer be able to eat, drink, or consume much. The panel made for this scenario that shows hunger will not be in sync with ravage and you're gonna die a lot quicker than you may be used to, even if you can not get shout or mauled.

the trader camps do not work at all you can't interact with the survivor npc

is CUP needed ? if yes, non-cup version?

Why ravage chernarus deleted?

@Clash, take as much time as you need. Real life is more important than our virtual one. I love you scenarios and I do hope to se them updated in the future, but it is all up to you. Thank you for hours and hours of fun time with Chernarus and especialy Livonia. It is sort of a therapy for me. Thank you Clash.

@lord-yo updates take a lot of time and energy to make, I lack both of those things right now. I've moved back into full time education studying games development and have moved on from mission making.

Missionstart : camera floating in air, nothing happens

seems pretty cool but it seems i got beginners anti-luck spending 2 hours walking around alone trying to find loot, then the second i got a backpack i hear a round from like 400 meters nail me in the head through a forest of cover, instadeath. was still a good walk i guess lol

@Extazz When dying you are supposed to respawn in a plane however i have plans to completely overhaul my ravage scenarios and making death matter it one of my priority features.

Would it be possible to make it a bit more punitive ?
Because for now death has no meaning, you respawn right away, at the same place, and can loot your own body.
You could either make us respawn at some hospital POI or paradrop again in a random area, so it would give us reasons to try to avoid death.

@Slobodan Milosandwich I use a modified version of the GF airdrop script. You are allowed to unpack the mission pbo and take the script but only if i and GF are credited for it.

Hi, are you able to share how you find/use the air drop script? I think they are amazing and would love to create my own scenarios with them if that is alright with you.

Whenever I die i spawn on top of my body and my dead bodies bag gets replaced with a parachute.

Please help me, above it says "perk chart (Key can be bindedin Options..."
There I only have these options:
- Ragdoll Key
- open AI invetory (what does that do?!)
- Quick Save
- Holster Weapon
- Order To surrender

None of these look like a menu to edit/see the perk chart and/or progression.

I have loaded all mods inlcuding the recommended ones.
What am I doing wrong?

I found out, that I need to start arma 3 as admin. Then I can save and "load" always the latest save-game. My companions drop randomly out of the airplane at the edge of the map, but that's a minor problem. Thank you very much, we like you mod quiet a lot.
Is it somehow possible to make stuff in tents persistent? After each restart the stuff disappears and will be replaced by random three items, mostly crap ;-)

@OpticCobra, Saving works somehow, but just once. Only the very first saved game will be loaded. All done afterwards (and saved) is fuitile. Any idea how to load the latest save game?
