Since the question isn't answered yet, is it possible to change teh default F key? So that i don't accidentially throw my basic rover off the cliff anymore?

In a multiplayer (non-ds) game when a client picks up a block it acts like its applying MUCH more force than it should, making the blocks launch in to the air if they aren't very careful

Great idea, I think it would be even better if you can rotate the holding grid. That would make a great mod to use together with the advanced welding mod (detaching & reattaching objects)

Did some testings, it seems the mod calculates the entire grids mass as the mass of the object instead of just the subgrid your trying to moves mass when considering if its too heavy
Tho this doesn't make sense since you only move the subgrid, so it should only consider the subgrid

I like this mod, but one thing I would really like to do it will not let me. So I'm using the small grid expansion mod to add small connectors, and I'd really like to make a connector "hose" to refuel planes from a fuel truck. Unfortunately when the hinges used for the hose are actually connected to a ship it won't let me pick up the other end. I expect this has to do with how the subgrid and mass is calculated - it would be awesome if it only considered the subgrid so I could still move the "hose". Is there any way to work around this?

Looks like others have walked this path previously. Love this mod, being able to manipulate the rotation to line up (merge block or weld pad) is going to make this mod amazing for salvage operations.

I get the exact same issue ! I can't seem to be able to manipulate grids correctly when far away from the origin (I made a custom star system and planets are far from each others so I must be far from the origin)

Hello there!! This is a fantastic mod, and is super useful.
I think i've found an issue with the mod. If you go super far away from the origin of the world, as in millions of meters away, the precision of the grid manipulation goes way down. The block will sometimes snap in 1x1 block increments. I'm wondering if this is a floating point error due to how big the world-space coordinate values become.

Hi, I love this mod and I have 3 suggestion. First, can you add the possibility to rotate the grap grid? It is very hard to manipulate a grid to connect it to an other one. Secondly, using the jetpack on planet is almost impossoble (I didn't try in space), can you add a togle option like the inertia dampner who slow you or make you accelerate and decelerate slower? Lastly, an option is to add a hand tool to do more precise / heavy movement. What do you think of all this?

cool mod, but there is an analog in which objects can be rotated. Try adding this feature - it is useful for plot and role-play

My current playthrough would not be possible without this mod, I'm using awwscrap and industrial overhaul! However I keep getting killed by flailing cubes, and it takes 10 minutes of glitchiness trying to line up a wheel I have salvaged with weld pads on to my new rover.

I've never done SE modding so don't know the limitations, but it would be amazing if you could make a way to 'steady' a block you're holding so it doesn't spin around like a gyro with override turned on. Anyway thanks so much for this mod!

I am using this in our hosted Dedicated Server. Got no problems until now, although we did not deliberately check for asynchronicities during carrying.

We are also using AwwScrap and Advanced Welding (510790477), definately recommend it!!! :D

You can only move small grids, but it makes sense anyway to use a small tug boat for moving chunks of large grid ships! And I did split little ships and reposition modules and things like that by pushing them around with this mod.

Also does this let you carry small large-grid things as well? I'm considering using Awwscrap in my modpack and if I could carry large grid blocks from place to place that would help greatly.

Could you reduce the force applied a little bit? It is really flailing around a lot, gaining scary speeds into chaotic directions when I turn or move... Perhaps a config file for that? Would be nice of you to consider.

Can we get a version where the maximum mass to interact is GREATLY increased, but the force applied isn't? So that you can still pull around a tiny ship in space if you want to move it around in a hangar
