This was made for me. I know Donner Pass comes in for a lot of stick because the Career Scenarios are impossible to complete but it's currently my favourite route as the scenery is so good. This scenario shows it to it's best advantage, and a passenger train makes a welcome change. Thank you.

That's cool, I dumped a grunch of money on this game. I like it that much. Well over 1k. I have all the routes but 2 small ones. Also got some workshop routes I like as well. Bought a lot of the bundles at rail simulator . com. Thanks for the shout out!!

Okay, I will get to work on that/those scenario(s). And you don't have to make a copy of the route, just go right ahead and make a scenario using the origional route. I haven't had any problems with it. And Donner Pass is the only American route I have, sadly!

Quick question. When doing scenarios, is it better to make a copy of the route without any scenarios? I am worried about messing up my original and the instructions warn about making changes to "originals".

That's cool. You could use this same run or do a 3 part series covering the whole of Donner pass. I have all the USA routes and haven't delved into scenario making yet. I don't know if you can use them on other routes as well, but it would be cool to see them in the Pacific Surfliner. I used to live in San Diego when I was in the Navy about a lifetime ago. I have a bunch of "N" gauge "Black Widows" and just waiting for the time and space to get them going. Thanks for your response.

I would love to make this scenario for you, if you could tell me exactly what you would like in it. Stops, origin, destination etc...

So, here I am, rolling along at 40mph on a flat stretch about 8 miles from Truckee. All of a sudden my speed jumps to over 45mph and I'm like "What!!!!" It takes me a couple more miles to realize I lost 6 passenger cars. So, I stop the train, back up 2 miles to reconnect and of course it won't let me. Other than that, it was a great run and I'm sure I'll run it a couple more times. If you do requests, I would like to see a "Black Widow" ABA passenger train. I haven't tried making scenarios yet. SP is my favorite line.
