the main rig that comes with the model, you can also learn how to use IK_Constraints, an Addon for SFM that adds the ability to make limbs an IK rig

They are sliders, you slide them from 0-1 and it'll change the expression.
They are known as flexes, and aren't always tied to the face.

That's not an issue I can fix. That's just Steam and SFM being weird. try a few times, if it doesn't work, try the Workshop Downloader website, then put them into your usermod folder.
