wtf this mod still holds up in 2025 its amazing

it's not great. I'm proud of what GM+ managed to achieve but it has a lot of problems, architecturally and feature-wise. have patience as something even better is coming.

sharpeye hasn't been updated in many more years than GM+, and this was made as a spiritual successor and as such has most if not all of the features of sharpeye. I'm surprised it works at all.

good for realism, also using sharpeye with this will instantly void you, well at least for me i think

that's because I went the extra mile to ensure compatibility. still, the code isn't very good, so I'm surprised it hasn't had more issues.

I love how functional this unsupported and un-updated mod is. Truly a wonder from Valve and Facepunch that they don't break everything in two updates.. most of the time.

I just started up gmod for the first time in years at the behest of my gf and tried out GM+ for the heck of it, I actually noticed no bugs or problems which is incredible, so that sounds like some kind of addon conflict (I was running completely vanilla)

try without addons and enable small batches to try and find the culprit, post it over in the Error Reporting thread if you figure it out. I make no promises but there might be something GM+ related in the future.

Any idea why this now causes some playermodels/viewmodels to flicker very rapidly? Specifically it's Dynaview's toggle causing it, which is unfortunate since it's the main reason I wanted to still use this mod..

I tried going through every toggle under Dynaview, on and off, nothing seems to fix the flickering.
