If anyone else is having Ta2Punk's problem in 2024, I discovered the likely issue. Specifically, they no longer drop from fish traps after getting the relic "fish net". But in this case, they still drop frequently with robotic shovel. If you're having this issue, try that.

How do you repair this? I have discovered factories and found a few of the new items.

Only found in fish traps, never from digging. Capped at 30. Once you hit 30 droids you'll never ever find another one again. Going from 29 to 30 took 3 hrs. At 30 I played for an additional 15 hours and never got another one. That was with automated traps both times.

Not sure why, I have been playing with the percentages all day (even up to 99) not a single one has came in from my fish traps.

The trap can be in any biome to catch forgotten droids. The drop chance by default is 1.5%, but is entirely configurable. See Commands in the description.

does the fishing trap have to be in a specific biome or anywhere to catch a forgotten droid? and what is the chance to get one?
