@ I have exact the same thats why I love this concept. M4 insteed MP5, Beretta for Glock, Spas with butt etc.

Thank you very much for this. I first played HL on my dad's PS2 and it had the HD graphics. I get why the devs used the MP5 and stockless SPAS but playing with HD guns feels right to me.

Remamber to unsubscribe to mods. It works for me even efter years now. I want to modify some animations and weapon shell casings for a several months now, but I have no time to do so. Need to learn a lot of things to do so. Anyways this mod should works even now just fine.

@Trigger, Thanks for the reply! Yeah, it just seems pretty inconsistent. I don't think it's the fault of this mod in particular, the MP5 in general seems kind of buggy to replace across all of them, even if I clear everything out and start fresh.

@-Ghost- I especially turn on game and check it out if it is a true, maybe new update or something. It works fine to me. You eighter subscribed some mod that replace some files, or you may try put mod from workshop folder to game mod folder. e

Do any MP5 replacement mods work at this point? It seems like all of them in particular are broken for some reason. This one actually worked fine for me up until today when my weapon randomly changed back to the default MP5.

You have other mods with custom sounds that alter sound maniofest file. Mine useing stock one with added lines so normally should have no conflict. Guess other mod conflict anyways.

@BoomersBro21 thats how I play. I like this way. You can change it to whatever in weapon script file. You can unpack mod and edit it there.

Just like always yuou have some mods conflict that uses sound manifest. THat is why you cant hear sounds. You can try to place mod from steam folder to mods folder.

Although I like the vanilla weapons, when I saw the mass of retextures in the workshop, I couldn't continue playing with them. I've tried quite a few mods, but this one beats them by far. Thanks for the reupload, it would be a shame if the M4 just disappeared like that.

Normally you don't have to do anything. You have custom sound script mods that makes conflict. You may repack mod and put it in to custom folder directory. Custom folder ususally has higher priority then workshop mods.

Yech I noticed it too very recently. Dunno why it is this way. It happend after some of recent updates. I don't know if Ifind source files and will try to fix this.

Great mod, but i wanna report a bug where i think it only affects M4s that spawns in with the map. For the M4s that spawns in with the map the grenade launchers seems to stretch down. I thought this could be fixed if i just copied the vpk files and put it in my custom folder it would fix. Nope, it didn't. Anyways other than that it's a great mod
