Nice, I agree 100%. I've been quite lucky in that if i cant't make the item alot of awesome people share there models for free all i need to do is some editing and it's good to go, but yes would love to get to the point where i can make some really cool irl items. Yes definitely :)

I had a bit of an interest in modeling a few years back and poked at Blender a little, but this workshop has really got me digging into it now. It's so fun! I would love to start trying to replicate real products to have in the game. I'm glad we have workshop-specific discussion boards where we can share and learn, too :D

You wouldn't know to look at your setup and models etc. I'm relearning blender after a few years away i retained a few things and slowing catching back up lol. That's a really good idea! I wish the thumbnails weren't restricted to 256x256 tho so we can fully capture the likeness of the actual models but with your setup it makes a big difference :)

Thanks! I'm just a beginner in blender so I just have some really basic setups. Nothing in the compositor unless I have transparency to render - but I keep a set of layers in my default .blend project based around the origin point (a camera and a couple lights for close-up objects, another set for larger furniture, etc). That way I can just hide or show them when I'm ready to snap a pic. It's been super helpful :D

Hey Jester, I have a light and backdrop set up in blender and render them there before bringing them over to Unity. I just learned how it works so I've been going HAM, lol!

These items are amazing! I had to drop by and say thank you, I think every room I decorate now has your work in it somewhere!

These thumbnails are clean as!! are you using a render?
