The game goes by relatively quickly, while there are some minor balancing issues i think it is still a great game, with good replay-ability.

Fun game if you font want to put much thought into your decision making, which inst a bad thing at all. its a very fun power trip

We recreated the game it's been fully fixed! It's an amazing experience, trust and try it out now. new art, new rules, new cards, new villains and characters.

This game has some very cool concepts that are completely undermined by the quality of the rulebook and some wild balance / mechanics choices. I would have elaborated a little here, but ran out of characters trying to explain even a single mechanic's issues with enough context to be worthwhile feedback. I made a Discussions post that I hope the dev checks out, because there's definitely some potential for a great experience in here and it'd be a real shame if the project falls into obscurity because of these types of issues.

Great concept. Lots of variety in the cards as well as all the moving parts of the game which makes it interesting to play. Not too long of a game to play. (2 players 35 - 40 min total) and we ended up having to battle to villian at the end. I like how there is more then one way to win and the battles are easy to complete. Lost of curses, weather, followers, favour cards ect. I recommend playing it and giving some feedback. It definitely has lots of potential to appeal to a good size audiance.

TLDR: Play it. It is super fun, quick, but strategic cooperative game with Monopoly/Catan vibes.

Vanguards of the Lost Lands is an easy to learn, pickup and play game. I found it highly accessible even though I have little boardgame experience. I am sure experienced players could finish a game in 30 minutes, so it is perfect for parties or busy people. I also enjoy that the game is cooperative, which makes it even more friendly to new players.
Even though it is easy to learn and play, I found it had great strategy elements and endless replayability. The strategy elements come from player choice in deciding when to explore various regions, utilizing hero abilities, planning against the unique bosses as well as various other elements used to optimize heroes. The replayability stems from the boss/hero combinations and luck/random elements.
Players can complete multiple games and experience many different bosses/heros which dramatically change how the game is played.

Fun game for all types of players, easy to learn and easy to follow. Grab a few friends to play with and you're set.

Pretty good 30-50 minute game, the dev is really helpful, the game is quite easy to learn but it can get challenging either because of bad luck or bad decisions. Overall a really good game.
