Some comrade improved a lot of TDM's cars by releasing Simphys LUA Script addons for them.
They work a lot better so I also guess these work.

Click subscribe, and make sure you have TDMCars. Then, hold down c, right click the car, hover over skin, press skin 1. wallah.
