1. These tracks are "assets" and assets work with every game version.
2. They are as optimized as I was able to optimize them. ;) ... that counts for all aspects... loading times (sharing) and 'in game' performance.
Does this mod work with the most current version of the game?
Could you elaborate on optimization... Is it optimised for loading speed only or in game performance as well?
You say they don't connect perfectly but they look fine in screenshots (not the description section) doesn't that issue happen with the normal train tacks as well, depending on the angle?
If so I can totally live with that.

Could make the double tracks as thin as possible, so that they only take one cell of space (8 meters.)
my city is near a mountain and transport problerm.
I can fix with that tracks
