For people who still have troubles with light effects by pressing F12. (After starting the game, after pressing F12, game crashes with message "Disposed bitmap")
Solution: Put Light_Bitcore.initialize into the 'Main' script

Example:

rgss_main {
Light_Bitcore.initialize
SceneManager.run
}

This was deleted for a reason sadly, the guy that made this plugin was a habitual art thief when they made tilesets and even ripped people's code when they started making plugins and scripts (this one included). Be aware of that when using this!

From the top of my memory.. I think you Open the project file just as you would normally... :P

To download this file after you've subscribed you need to open up RPGMaker and you will see a small cog right next to the 'Playtest' option.

@Mueller Mitch You'll want to go into your region tags for the tilesets. Wall pieces should be number 4, and roof pieces should be 5. Doing this will allow the light to be blocked by walls and the like.

@Rave' ChodeyNips you can tint the screen with alternate colours with the command or you can tint it with the default rpg maker vx scripts. theres a tint screen option.

Have run into a small problem where, especially in very dark areas, choice boxes are obscured by the lighting and are too dark to see. I've no clue if this is an issue with the script or just the screen tinting in VXAce. Is there any way to correct this?

I have a Problem with this script. If the Player pick up some light and walks behind something like a tree the Player is behind but the light ist over the tree, it Looks wrong. how can i fix this?
