One of my all-time favorites, simply cannot wait for this to make it over to WH3!

I do plan on bringing this mod to TWW3. At some point. TWW3 isn't terribly high on my list of games to play right now, so it may be a little bit.

If you mean there being no runes for Gotrex, there is a submod in the description to add the runes

@Vivi I am not aware of any issues with the Runes, but I haven't played Warhammer 2 in quite some time. Furthermore, with IE just around the corner, and me potentially getting back into Warhammer 3 because of it, I'm not overly interested in deep diving into any issues with my Warhammer 2 mods.

I will be sending this and a few other of my library into Warhammer 3, and any issues that show up there will be ironed out, however.

@gondi and noredemption. Taking a quick look at the tables in both mods, I *Think* the problem is that both authors have used the same key for gotrex and felix. Both are gotrex_and_felix. So I don't think that adding it into this mod would work.

I was using the mod together with ChaosRobie's Thunderbarge mod: https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2575636581 , which adds a hero Malakai Makaisson to the game.

I realised that Malakai Makaisson's skill "Friend of Gotrek and Felix" won't apply to any Gotrek and Felix added by mods.

I left a comment on the Thunderbarge mod page, and ChaosRobie mentioned that I could ask you to [/i]'add his new gotrek+felix unit into the "gotrek_and_felix" unit set (needs to be created). That would make it compatible with the Thunderbarge mod, with no compatibiliy patch needed.'[/i]

Would you be willing to do this? Would it cause any other problems for the mod?

Just wanted to mention in-case anyone didn't notice like me, but the heroes when recruited for dwarven players will have their rune slots visible but locked, their is a linked submod above that unlocks these for use for the heroes when you are playing a dwarven faction! Cheers!

I can tell I'm going to have a lot of fun with this mod especially with its adaptation for SFO Grimhammer, but I just wanted to give my initial feedback right away as it almost seemed hilarious. Is it possible perhaps to give gotrek/felix some increased action success chance by default? I have just gotten them and their first action to assassinate an equal level 1 hero and was a critical failure, injury, and I laughed out loud. This is the legendary duo, they shouldn't have too much issue with basic heroic actions, even if maybe for their increased chance of agent successful action comes at perhaps a higher price? Just the initial thoughts, I'm eager to see how they perform on the battlefield, compared to standard dwarven heroes!

@EzraT8 I am planning on adding this mod provided I do get Warhammer 3. I'm still not 100% sold on Warhammer 3 at the moment, but if I do get it, I will put this mod in, and will add them for Kislev, and (because it'll probably be asked for sooner rather than later) Cathay.

@Fengxian0830 In regards to adding them for Vamp Counts, I'll do it in TWW3. I know that's probably not what you wanted to hear, but at this point, I don't feel like doing too extensive of a dive at this juncture. My apologies.

Hey man, love the mod! I’ve had it on every dwarf and empire campaign, also just used then with Teclis. Love the lore too much not to. I also like how powerful they are (as they should be, because plot armour is very effective)
Will you be doing this mod for Warhammer 3? would love them to fight with Kislev, as they do in the books

The lord version of Gotrek needs to not have spawned when you put this mod in. It will not get rid of the DLC version if it's already spawned in, I'm afraid.

I already recruited Gotrek and Felix in my SFO Empire campaign but Gotrek is a lord that can recruit army, so is this mod Save game compatible and will I just have 2 Gotrek? 1 Lord 1 Hero? or I need new campaign?

Could you include them for Vampire Counts too? I'm playing a campaign with Vlad as the Eternal Emperor. These two heroes would make most welcome addition for the coming war against chaos.

I am a pvp player most of the time.
I wonder if you can make a submod that have the same feature but separate Gotrek and Felix into 2 indenpent heroes like in PvP or custome battle? I would be great

alright, thanks for the reply. they are currently on the map in my territory. maybe if i enable this mod it'll disappear.

This mod should work in an existing save. If they CA DLC units have already spawned, I don't know what you can do to get rid of them other than wipe out whatever faction has them, and if it's your faction, I don't know what you can do.

Can this mod be downloaded if they have shown up on the map? is there a workaround to make them disappear from the map and then maybe this mod could work?

No, it doesn't need an update, though I do need to figure out the Runes, AI cannot recruit them, and it prevents the vanilla/DLC version of the lord/heroes from spawning.

hmm if i hire them can AI also hire them at the same time? it would be weird seeing them on a AI army as well as mine lol

Hi there. As someone else, can't give runes. Also, I accidentaly removed their unique weapon and now I can no longer equip it because it doesn't show up in the weapons menu anymore.

Renaming worked, i totally forgot about that lol. Thank you very much!

@Viper The names are screwy. Very screwy. They show up for some factions, and not for others. You'll have to manually put them in, I'm afraid.

When I go to recruit them and also hover over the map they dont have names, are there any mod conflicts that may be causing that or is it just a bug?

Description says it should be compatible with unlockers but I can't recruit them playing as Zhufbar :(

Yeah u cant give them runes as dwarfs and i have a suspision they dont give the reduced upkeep tot he parent army anymore
