Really great mod! Love it! (Altough it causes a little bit of lag, but you can expect that ofc.) My question is, if you could also make a same like mod for Train stations. They don't have to be out of the map, but that they just spawn people in the train station. I would love to make international Trains or a Train service that i can run in 2 maps (Imagnary of course). I don' no if it's possible, but if it is it would be great! Thank you for adding mods like this!

edited one of my routes and now the awayport the route serves doesnt spawn passengers, tried everything and nothing's fixed it

Works fine for me, although it did crash , but reloaded the crash save file and was all good , nice work .

After I lod this mod it cause a huge impact of the performance, I can only get 5 fps even I only turn on this mod, any idea ?

not sure what's with this mod all of a sudden, but it crashes my game whenever the awayport spawns passengers now. Never used to do this, so what's happened?

So Im guessing there has been an update. My planes now wont land until the airport is clear. So they are just flying around forever costing the earth.

How to delete the airports? I think it causes a sluggish game even after I unload the mod.

For a harbour mod i will likely just keep them close by, the ships are slow moving after all compared to aircrafts. You can have the objects quite far away, as long as you keep the routes point-to-point, and avoid ending in longer detours and holding patterns.

on tpf.net , someone made a similar mod and he managed to have airports much much further away it seems. not sure what he did differently tho, but i think even 5km away is already more than enough for these slowpoke ships

I am waiting for a new PC and will take a look at this again. I will create a harbour version then.
Usually crashes occur if the routing becomes too long, I can move the airport closer to the map, but I think the issues never will go away unless the base code changes.

@Superhai getting this error Error: Assertion `pr.first->second.first == entity' failed same as @Rinaldo Aleixo. Extra into: game crashing between 20-25 min after map is loaded.

just wanted to come back and say this is such a magical addition to my set of ALWAYS used mods. it is a wonderfully easy way of getting many people/passengers into your map without having to worry about large AI towns that kill processing. by using this and the people magnets so that you can DIRECT plebs where you want them to aid realism is fabulous. if only there could be an off map station for express trains and a port for ferries we would have ultimate passenger movement. keep working on your amazing projects please!!!!

So now it is still not working right? I try again yesterday and it freeze the game when the route is create....
But like I said last time, I have an active route working in my save, and I really don't understand why, I just don't want to touch it and afraid it break my save...
And I found it is difficult to delete the airport, is there any tips for it?

Yes there is a distance limit on the dynamic path routing in the game. I will take a look and probably put the airports even closer to the maps on the larger maps.

I found a problem everythime when I create a new route to the airport, it will CTD with an error saying about the path distance. The funny thing is I already have a route working normally, it happen after I create a second airport, and CTD when the plane come out from the depot (create the route won't crash)

I've passed a few days trying to find which mods were crashing my game with this fatal error..

Error: Assertion `pr.first->second.first == entity' failed

I've just desabled your mod and the error went away. Probably this mod was crashing my game, sadly, cause I like it so much, hope it gets fixed asap. Thanks in advance!

Obviously we look out for each other as there are many people who do copy and paste our hard work. It's not personal - and it's me who contacted VacuumTube - if you have nothing to hide you can also answer my question. I am not an investigator to inspect your code - that's why I asked if you wrote it yourself ;) I have no interest in your mod as such as I am already using his. Good luck with the crashes!

Thanks for that VacuumTube. I already have the cargo part ready, but I have to have some time to redesign the GUI, and also the construction part to have it implemented. Because how I construct the airport as a static one, i haven't figured out how to be both cargo and passenger airport. I barely get the time to actually play the game myself. haha.

For the code, it makes me sad that people jump to the guns, before investigating themselves. It is not exactly hidden if you download the mod.

No worries here, I am glad that someone continues my idea. I had some odd crashes (only in some cases, didn't find out why) and didn't publish my mod officially. See also here:

The construction gui seems very interesting. Anyway, if you want to add cargo or parameters for the person capacity, maybe my code might help.

Yeah, I will expand the UI, so you can choose if it will be commercial or industry as well. Or I could have all three, but then I have to work some more with the constructions, as it will require connected separate buildings. Right now the person value is very high, but I am not sure if it can easily be adjusted to something that is quantifiable.

Yes, I will have to change it a bit for experimental map sizes. It have to be closer to the map, otherwise it crashes. Not sure what limit Urban have put. Just have to find the perfect distance.

I used it this evening, but the game crash if the journey is too long (I used it on a experimental map, the "land" airport" was on a side, and your mod on the other side.) I'll try it in 5 minutes for a shorter journey.

@GA5MλSK Outside connections for trains already exist, in the form of a large loop that you place at the edge of the map so it takes trains time to come back. It can be found on Transportfever.net , I don't remember the specific item.

I think trains outside the map is trivial, you just create a long track to the outside station, but ships will probably need some waterways, not sure how that would work out.
