And then load the game ,my Zoom is gone.
Any way for me to solve this?
@GaborHart It still works for Skirmishes, but I don't believe it works for multiplayer anymore.
If that doesn't resolve it then it may be a bug with the mod on some some maps or it could also be a bug in the game engine itself.
This mod could be consolidated with nearly any other mod, but other mod developers would need to incorporate my changes into their files, otherwise one would simply overwrite the other.
Does anybody have the same issue? Can someone tell me how to fix this?
I determined that this was the maximum zoom level that can be achieved without causing clipping issues on the camera, which can result in unusual visual artifacts and flashing onscreen. As to not cause these undesirable behaviors, I chose to deliberately limit the zoom level.
This is a limitation of the modding tools available for the game.
"Please note: while all of the following victory point options exist, you will only ever see three shown at one time. After clicking on the Victory Points drop-down menu, you scroll with your mouse wheel to see the the other options."
yes
Sincerely
your MOD (zoom) works in Campaign Mode or only in Skirmish mode?
Sorry for the silly question but I tried several times your mod and I cannot see it working (I have an iMac 2020 year)
@Richard Simmons I'm sure it can be done. When I have time to update the mod, I'll do so.
I've added the Annihilation game mode - it's available as a separate selection under the Win Conditions selection on the Skirmish Options screen.
Thanks for the suggestion, and happy holidays!
If you want Annihilation without Victory Points, I can see about adding it to the mod.
The other zoom out mods I've tried have often been problematic or don't play well with other Tuning Pack mods (e.g. All Units). This works beautifully and the VP options are a nice bonus.
Also, the amount of extra zoom feel right. Enough to be useful but no too much (Cheat Commands).
Cheers!
