It allows people to remove the drop only. You have to add a mod of your own choice to replace it. I have a few in my Collection of Awesome Stuff you can pick from.

@keyseyvi: If it removes the drop, I would hope it would be replaced with something that you wouldn't mind to drop. That is what I think this mod serves. I have not tested this out and was looking to see if it removes the drop entirely or does the game replace the removed drop with something else.

I think its just for if you have the specialized shields mod to remove the drops for the old shields
