I forced an combine shotgunner to use the swep using extended properties tool and what happened is that the shotgunner constantly tposed and said "come here" endlessly. What was extremely ironic is that the melee attack of the shotgunner still worked so if you would come near the shotgunner you would get smacked.

if you dont want it to change model, you can use advanced playermodel selector which overrides that.
Thirdperson would require third person base or something like that, something that im not experienced with.
NPC compatibility will possibly added at a later date
