Actually I don't know. I think it wouldn't work but I haven't tried it, so I have no proof.

is there a way to get a middle station where people can get on and off while the cable line continues (like you have in ski ressorts nowadays)

I am looking for more factory connection in order to supply an altitude restaurant. I need connections for food & waste. Does not exist :/

It should be listed under in the left menu for building mods, in the submenu "stations" (or something like that, I don't exactly remember)

About the masts, they'll be one of the first things I plan to make. I hope it will work well...I mean, I hope the change of the height will work.

Yeah i have read all i could about the power for this game, I think I just need to work with it till i get it right. As far as I can tell, I am doing everything correctly except for maybe proper placement of the substations and how far apart they are from each other. Anyways, I do look forward to seeing how to use cableway.

Agree about cableways being useful. They are super cheap and good to go over railways and factory connections, and usually faster than road and rail. Small cableway stations cost the same as only 1 vehicle!

If you click the substation, there's some info about its usage. If it's around 120%, it's ok. If it's over 150, I would build another one.
Electricity...check this guide about heating. It's quite similar to electricity but it's easier to understand. It helped me a lot to understand even the electricity.

I was just reading that on a steam thread. lol. I have not messed with cable cars yet as I am still trying to figure out power. I cant seem to get the numbers correct with the substations. At any rate, this model does bring an alternative to the vanilla platform :)

Thank you. I think they are just underrated. Cable cars provide a constant stream of workers. Lead a cable car from your city to a power plant and you'll never have blackouts again.

I think cable cars are not very popular, because they are mostly used specifically in custom mountain maps from workshop, which I think are challenging and not very popular. Thanks for adding your cablecar station, it's pretty, cheap and will obviously bring more variety to the game.
