I also get water & power symbols w/ the view it mod (or whatever it's called) - solution is to simply start the map and let it play for a minute BEFORE you actually build anything, and then everything will "hook up" (if you will) and you'll be good to go

Very pleasant and easy for starters. I like the balance between mountainous landscape and nice, buildable flat space. Great detailing, especially love tiny rocky lakes scaterred around the map.
