@LRY I made a patch for this mod that removes the awful dining and rec room. Some people got errors when replacing this mod with the patched one so I recommend using a new save.

I notice that there's no mention of this working with Room Size Tolerance or any other mod that hcanges how rooms are calculated based on size. I like the idea of buffing the positives, so I'm going to test this out now and see how it works.

@LRY I guess you meant the dining room then? Thanks for the input, people have been having problems with the debuffs before.I'm not sure how to fix it but I'll still try

hi.I ran this mod alone and found that as long as I have eaten in a terrible restaurant, the negative impact of a terrible restaurant will always exist. Even if I go to an impressive restaurant later, it will be regarded as a terrible restaurant and cannot be removed

@LRY By restaurant, are you referring to a debuff/buff added by a mod? currently this mod only supports 'Dormitories not Barracks' but debuffs added by other mods shouldn't be affected. I will fix any issues if there are any, though.

Any chance you could link the previous version for now? I didn't notice the previously mentioned debuff error, and my the error is spamming out my game. I don't want to continue on the save with the error going off. Thanks

@Neosuduno yeah too many people have complained about the awful rec/dining room problem for it to be another mod. I'll have to take it out I think

There are a few problems I found with this mod. Outdoor recreation counts as a room, and gives awful recroom. Also, dining rooms are nerfed to hell with this mod.

This mod doesn't seem to be compatible with SoS2. The room system for ships is already weird, but adding this mod seems to make it so that pawns don't get any bonuses for recreation or dining in a spaceship.

@BiFur I can't seem to replicate the error- I put a toilet in my rec room and still got the buffs. Could you send me a debug log privately if you ever get the issue again?

@BiFur I see. Thanks for the report, I'll test with Bad hygiene for errors. I have to guess that any mod that adds a new room type will mess up the debuffs.

I got a similar error to Kaedys. Particularly, I had a toilet (dub's bad hygiene) in the rec room which caused everyone to get the awful rec room debuff. Moving the toilet into its own separate bathroom gave the intended result.

@Kaedys tbh I have no idea what's happening. If it wasnt for the error logs I would have thought that they ate somewhere like a prison barracks (they do that sometimes) but this is definitely an issue on my part. I'm gonna try running this with a bunch of other mods to see if I can find it myself, but if you ever get the error again PM it to me.

Well, now I can't even replicate it. I had disabled the mod in the mean time, then re-enabled it to get a screenshot. I noticed an error being spammed in the dev log before enabling it about the awful dining room being null but having should remove (or something like that) as false, so when I re-enabled it, I used Character Editor to remove the Awful Dining Room thought from my pawn. She's now acquiring the Extremely Impressive Dining Room mod as expected. Soooooo no idea.

@Kaedys could you send me your modlist and a screenshot of the room? I'm testing it rn and there doesn't seem to be any issues. I have to guess it's one of your mods causing the problem, so I need the list you're using to find out which one it is.

@Kaedys that's definitely weird to say the least. The awful dining/rec room debuffs are custom-added by this mod in xml, so it's likely because of that. I'll probably end up removing them, but I'll still see if there's any way I can fix it without knowledge of C. Thanks for reporting :)

Seems to be breaking my rec room/dining room combined room. I have no other rooms with a table or recreation objects in them, and the room is rated as "Somewhat Impressive". With this mod enabled, my pawns get both -2 debuffs for an "Awful Rec Room" and an "Awful Dining Room". Disabling the mod properly gives them the buff for "Somewhat Impressive" in both. Is the mod not setup to handle rooms that fulfill more than one type of room? The base game certainly permits it. Even though it'll only display one room type, it'll grant the buff for both as long as they are used for their specific purposes (rec and eating, for example)

@butterchubs Not through a settings option but you can change it in the xml files. In the mod's patch folder, the Thoughts_Memory file changes the dining, rec, bedroom and barracks and the Thoughts_Situation file changes the cell, prison barracks and hospital. In either file look for the name of the room <!--it'll be in chevrons like this--> then directly under it the impressiveness level. In the <baseMoodEffect> tag replace the number there with what you need it to be.

interesting mod - Like it!

I wonder - could you link impressiveness to some other stats also. Like a bonus to rest effectiveness when above decent - along with some minor increases in immunity gain speed if they love the room at higher levels - say very impressive and above (placebo effect).
