Alt-F10 will always work. Alt-F12 only works if your world is set to offline I think, or maybe only when its set to creative.
Don't know if you are using the community edition, if not you should definitely do that. Many mods will no longer work correctly without it

I've done that but it didn't do anything. Fortunately I managed to fix the game by reinstalling the game (with no mods active/installed) and verified the game files before adding the mods back. Alt-10 and 12 do not work anymore except for modders, according to the forums/threads I've found. The map is done well, played on it for a couple of hours but the whole map bug thing was a bother

View previous comment. You need to delete the generated map image than it updates. This happens with most worlds.

Mod bugged out and now I can't play random worlds without it being the map of this. I've uninstalled the mod completely and deleted all saves and files involving this water map but it still generates this map. I don't recommend this mod unless you plan to strictly play on this map

When changing planet you need to often manually update the map. This can be done by deleting the contents of the map folder found here: AppData\Roaming\MedievalEngineers\Map
Can also be updated ingame using Alt-F12 menu

dont download this it completely bugged my game now every time i load into a world even with this completely uninstalled and no mods enabled the map is the map from this

Hello, planet is great, is there any way to cut out easy all ores?

Most of the Viking World server players are builders with high hours in ME and not into PVP at all and only a few of us are willing to learn more about ME's workings So Thank you for hanging in there for us you and the other big's Wolf ,Angle and others who's names I don't want to butcher. In a week or so I will be running one of the Viking world servers from my home on my own equipment So ME is not going away even if Merek wants it to.

That is interesting we do have a lot of players Unfortunately some have lost whole builds like they were never there We chose this world because we wanted a trader game we have placed the trader on a small island on the west of the large group because all the water ways can be sailed we have finally got the players to interact more and trade directly I do most of the cleaning on the server and it seems to help if old abandoned areas are removed. I was told by Doodlebug that he has commissioned Angel to create a world based on this one that is essentially a map of the UK last I heard it should be ready around Christmas time. We are hoping to continue using this map until then just got to watch for the greifers LOL there seems to be a group or 2 that just want to ruin things for ME players.

Vanishing grids is a bug that happens once a world is big enough. Usually its somewhat rare. You just have to hope it does not happen to something big :D

Not sure of last update but we are using this world on ME World Vikings Server have been for about 6 months now It is a nice world but has a few quirks. It seems that things just disappear from time to time Whole buildings but not necessarily all buildings in a claim. We have not been able to stop this or recover them as to much time had passed and backups did not have the lost buildings. We are still however using the world. This world is a paradise for Fisherman Fish in all the rivers and in the open waters . Seem to only find deer in plenty at the northern side of the world . But they are there.

well there is only one animal :D
but do the deers spawn at the equator? maybe they don't

Great map loving it.
But haven't found any animals for some reason, do you know of any reason why is this happening?
