@YellowCross If you're talking about the little yellow triangle warning in the launcher, then you can usually ignore it and smaller mods like this. The launcher only reads a mods descriptor file, which has absolutely no bearing on the mods functionality.

@tilarium I didn't play with it so as to not break the save. But if it is probably good to go, I'm going to test it in the coming days, thought there is some reason for the author to not give the "flag" that it is good to go on 1.17.0 and above.

Mods clash probably, I had no problem with this and fair lords and using ruler designer.

It does the same for me as Lucas.

i've seen the hair in your photos pop up sometimes but are we able to select and use it? i don't see any of them while creating a ruler

@Macjof No worries. LotR is an EPE based texture mod. (Which means it needs an EPE based overhaul)

Apologies if asked already but is this and fair Lords compatible with overhaul mods? LotR mod more specifically

skin feels so weird, like it's covered in dirt, not in a realistic way. this was not the case in previous versions, so I'm wondering why this was changed...

I really loved this mod, but with the latest update, the female characters have noticeable stubble and rougher skin textures... so I think I’ll have to take a break from using it for a while. 😢 It makes me sad. I just want to tell you that this feedback isn’t meant to say your hard work is wrong. But if a lot of people are sharing the same opinion, it might mean there are some points worth considering for you as well.

@BlazingImp77151 This mod replaces some textures directly (listed above.) It applies to all female characters. I didn't get screenies of kids because the infant decal genes are bugged right now. (PDX issue.)

In case you don't know, the beauty trait flips on three components:
1) A beauty complexion with the lips always set to maximum strength. Vanilla color is a bright red-orange.
2) A makeup layer. Vanilla applies blush and eyeliner to men and women.
3) Genetic slider adjustments that make the person more symmetrical. This is currently broken; PDX needs to fix it.

Some mods adjust the code to reduce the lip effect or remove the makeup effect on the gene side. My mod is a bit more direct. My lips should look bare/natural even at full strength. And by blanking out the makeup overlay, men don't get unwanted makeup when they get the trait. This means that beauty trait reducing mods are probably redundant, unless you want to exclude the beauty texture altogether.

I think you removed the part of the description that specified what the mod does by changing the characters. Is this something to make beauty traits not as bad with how they affect you, or is it something more?

I'll say this once: The only reason I leave the comment section open is so that nice people can poke me to update. I worked 8-12 hour days on these mods for 20 days straight, and I didn't have the energy to sort the chaff from the wheat.

My apologies to those who commented in good faith yesterday who got swept up because someone else was blowing up my comments. No, I will not be rolling back, but of course I will fix something reported broken. In answer to the objection about women now having "stubble": most people without foundation or color correcting makeup have color variation around their mouths. I painted from photo references. Yes, the makeup map is blank, so it is functionally disabled, as has been in this mod for ages. The beauty map has its makeup baked in-- very light eyeliner and natural blush on women. Beautiful people also bathe, so that complexion has a clean neck.

In my next release I may make adjustments. Give me time.

@Benedicter Anything touching morphing would be beyond the very specific scope of this mod. I did have a look and it seems to be a reported bug. Infant decals aren't working either right now. :/

The Fair Ladies Remaster is now live for 1.13! It took me many long weeks to put together. Hopefully it adds enjoyment to your games.

They disabled the gene morphing in 1.13, beauty trait only change the complexion now. Can you bring it back please?

Please be patient everyone, I am working on a fairly big update for these mod and that involves some major repainting. I am hopeful that the next version of this mod will still look beautiful but more detailed and less airbrushed. Stay tuned!

Go in game and take 2 screenshots of a female character. one vanilla, one with the mod. Yes, the mod still has a yellow exclamation mark in the launcher. Look up online how to remove it if it bugs you that much.

@TDogOrtiz1175 no issues here regarding schemes. nothing in my mod list affects schemes so there might be something in your list that does

@rangology do you have issues with your discovered schemes not showing up? doubt this mod would cause it but just to be sure i suppose.
