@Navarc, unfortunately a good amount of people disagree, sitting at 51% positive rating, I believe that's the only reason I never got contacted about this

would absolutely love more in this style, was so sad that Excal Zatos shoulderskull wasn't allowed to be equipped on other WFs

Hey, to answer your question I don't have access to files and such, but from what I could see some parts were overly detailed in model and it would be in contrast with the rest of warframe since warframe has a pretty chunky artstyle. the teeth you made are an example, I don't think you can find that level of detail in other warframe content. BUT I MIGHT BE WRONG!
Anyways good of you to optimize the mesh, as a game-artist myself that's the name of the game: "LESS POLIGONS MAKE GAME FAST" :P

@Hrafn-9 I've just made a lower Tri count mesh, that goes down to 4,999 total if DE needs it, they can request for it. Thanks for the suggestion.
SweepMachine  [ophavsmand] 15. nov. 2020 kl. 8:19
@Hrafn-9 are you a developer or something that has access to the file? So I worked in blender, and it says it has 5023 faces which is the required (although it does have 7452 tris, which is the triangulated faces which I was unsure if I needed to focus on that one as poly count is usually just faces)

Amazingly interesting. The only change I'd make is to reduce model detail because it's having a lot of polygons compared to everything else in the game afaik

I think My only suggestion is cloth on some areas, maybe some colorable bone stains, it seems too clean. The rest is really nice looking.

@Lubox, how so? Earth is in Warfame, which means fossils would still be buried deep beneath the ground, and some may even come to the surface through plate shifting and the orokin terraforming.
Lubox 9. nov. 2020 kl. 12:02
Creative, bude spinosaurus in warframe is quite odd :)
Moosewing 5. nov. 2020 kl. 9:16
Very creative take on a set of shoulder armor. Thumbs up from me.

Anyone who down-voted this had an unhappy childhood. You have my support SweepMachine.

Spinosaurus??? In MY warframe????
SweepMachine  [ophavsmand] 3. okt. 2020 kl. 14:23
So, via the stats right now (only 2 days in) It's either you really love the look of it, or you think my interpretation of this is sub par. 54% want it in the game and a whopping 43% don't, 3% is undecided. So take that as you will, I might post the stats later down the road to keep you guys informed. I have taken some consideration towards the existing comments (although I am not pleased with them.) I have decided to wait a bit before changing anything, as this took me a considerable amount of time to make, and I want to see if this will garner any attention from Digital Extremes, as they may have specific changes they want done. Thank you to the 54% who liked this showcase. Love you guys.

I really the concept, but I feel like there could be a bit more done to really help it fit in the warframe style. This could even be adding some ostron paint to the bones
Lazarus 2. okt. 2020 kl. 20:48
Very much like the concept, not so fond of the execution. I would absolutely love to see some alt versions of this idea.
SweepMachine  [ophavsmand] 2. okt. 2020 kl. 17:49
For instance I thought of Crystals, rocks, metals, even cloth connecting to the bones, but all of it was just too much to add in the end without losing a lot of the detail on the mesh.
SweepMachine  [ophavsmand] 2. okt. 2020 kl. 17:46
@Scruffel, I wanted to do so much more, but the polycount is very difficult to work around, and really capture the detail and idea. So, I agree, but I also felt adding more was just impossible with the polycount restrictions
Atlas Warframe 2. okt. 2020 kl. 15:27
I like the concept a lot, but it feels like there's something missing within it to make it complete. Perhaps some sort of 'plates' in which the fossils are placed upon; in order to have a more proper
"armor" look?
