But as others have said during my first save my team did not play well at all and i got sacked after 8 games. Main problem being ,is the lack of good staff. All players become unhappy and dont gel .

Easy way to fix it - Edit the game yourself as i have done. Ive put 8 members of staff there (all very good) I also changed the date the club was formed (4yrs old now) so i can play in the FA Cup. Everything else has been left alone.

i have finished my first season and qualified for the champions league but cant submit my squad as i have no players that are home grown to steam fc how do i progress my game

If your going to have a fun cheat game you might aswell boost your club using the fm editor tool.. you can even make your home town with badges n mates...
I normally make myself as a LW 17yr old wonderkid and start with york city with a few extra pennies of OR give NUFC 100mill for example :)

I dont know if its just me but my team is full of really good players ( Daniel Sturridge, Hugo Lloris, Zlatan Ibrahimovich,ETC.) and we know our tactic pretty well, we just never win anything i mean i lose to really bad teams in the premier division and always end up in the low to midtable area is there somthing im doing wrong?

I signed a strict under 25 squad, and after an inconsistent start, finished 2nd in my first season. Shaqiri is incredible on the wing! 4-2-3-1 formation.

I just noticed that this team can't even compete in the FA Cup. I hope @WALTON1981 will sort this out asap. @adamahc it's tough for me as well during my first season. Therefore, one way is to sign those players who has a minimum release clause. All the best to all FM players.

@bof highlander & @walrus....i ended up having to sign quite a lot of the grey players...who were pretty damn decent anyway...for the first season and use a pretty basic tactic to get the league win...all because players didnt want to come to the club in the league no matter how much i offered. it is a definitely a good mod for that there is no doubt but as said i think there does need to be some changes...even if its just providing a basic backroom staff and some players to start with still 8/10 though

I agree with Bof Highlander - its a very fun mod but a pain in the ass to start off because you have no harmony, no tactical knowledge, no staff (hence training). There is simply too much work to do to be immediate title/cup favourites in every competition.

I enjoy the challenge of it in that aspect, similarly the fact that some players and staff simply wont join you for whatever reason. About half the bids I had accepted, the players werent even prepared to listen to a contract offer, it was just a straight no.

Can anybody list down the possible signing for world class players with the £800M budget? I'm in the second season and I've spent £650M the first season and I received a £550M budget for the second season. CR7, Ozil, Stegen, Otamendi, Inigo Martinez, Azpilacueta, Ronaldinho, Diego Costa, Luis Suarez, Mikel, Alaba, Chicarito, Valdes, Micah Richards, Varane just to name a few. Thanks WALTON1981.

Great mod, I have just one issue....you basically have to start a team from scatch, everyone who plays this game knows that if you buy too many plyers your 'Harmony' is rubbish. Why set the expectation to 'Win the League' when you have to buy a fresh squad and build up the team harmony? Its very hard to get a whole squad in for the start of the season and even still with a squad big enough to challenge the various cups. Also trying various tactics...to get a good run of form is very difficult let alone win the entire league. Needs a revision/update in order to make this amazing mod more enjoyable. 8/10

1. even medium coaches dont want to hear your contract offer...
2. almost all players (even trash ones) will want at least first team (or no deal)
3. medium players ask unreal wages
4. you need overpay everything 3-5times in total that you would pay playing without this mod
kinda feel its worthless to invest time...better just grab good team and in 1-2 seasons reshape it for yourself.

This is great. I bought Ronaldo for £200m (just a 1/4 of the transfer budget), and I've got a fantastic squad. My only current problem area is centre back, as the best experienced ones are either invaluable to their clubs (apparently anyway), or they aren't interested. I must have bought 7 or 8 in total between the age of 18-25(?), and I've loaned out Kyriakos Papadopoulos, Romagnoli and Doria, however City stealthily grabbed Varane for just £23m!!! Phil Jones cost me £45m! ONE MAJOR THING TO KNOW: initially the scouts give far underated reports, as Luis Suarez starts at 2.5 stars, and Ronaldo and Messi just 4. I think they started changing to realistic terms (e.g. Suarez 4 or 4.5 stars) after the transfer window opened.

Overall, this was great.

Very nice! I noticed, though, that all the english players that have home grown (nation) have lost that status (at least the ones I looked at - Glen Johnson & Leighton Baines, for example), which makes it difficult to put together a team. Is this a problem at my end?

aside from this topic, just as a side question, the thought of adding legends into the game never occured to me. do they start off as free agents or with their most notable club?

Also buying so many players with so much money... i think im caught with financial fair play... that means no CL for me?
