Any recommendations?
I have little to no coding/file editing experience.
It's not perfect, but it's a great deal XD
On the other hand, these models are absolutely amazing. I can't remember the last time I saw in-game armors that colored this well. It's something about the specularity I think, the slight metallic sheen over everything, that makes it work. I could dress my badass [female] spartans in snot yellow or dog turd brown and it would still look good because of these armors!
Cause when I look I get your parts but then like the meat and potatoes "where the tech suit would be" I don't see any identifiers for your mod so I go with the older tech suit mod from the HALO guy from back in the day.
Also don't forget to consult the Xcom 2 Mod reddit page for details on how to get started if you don't already know, as well as miscellaneous walkthrough advice for general application
I got my assets here:
https://www.405th.com/forums/resources/
And I followed youtube tutorials in order to turn the models into playable armors. Tully held my hand through the process and showed me details and answered my questions. The process for adding these armors is the same as for any other, size and fit, rig, weight paint, create and stack the textures, and compile. The coding, while lengthy, is pretty straightforward once you're familiar with the nomenclature.
And for the record, Extracting assets from halo or other Microsoft games is a technical violation on the Microsoft EULA. To those who know how to do it and/ or looking to learn, ask creators or those willing to teach privately and not on public forums. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.
sick collection all the same tho, happy to finally have warrior-class in particular!
