I'm genuinely upset that the magazine on the repeater isn't taken out (physically gone from the gun) then reappears once it's been reloaded.
That and its horrendous accuracy (fires around targets within spitting distance, makes "sniping" enemies 10 feet away impossible) and how much the characters try using the club instead when in the short range. I'm assuming that the slow reload time is due to the low skill of the characters.

Other than the weird tubes on the side that clip into the guns, I enjoy the model of the regular harpoon gun though it lacking a visual difference between loaded and unloaded even with something small like the charging handle going back is saddening.

The sound I set is actually called harpoon in the editor, but I duno kenshi is weird like that. " (avaliable in desert cammo rust)" -> I had two choices, spend hours on a complex UV unwrap and add a new texture for each harpoon gun or use generic kenshi rust and be done in 5 seconds. I'm not gona lie, I made these in 5 minutes each so I didn't feel the need to do super awesome textures. I had planned to use the textures from the harpoon guns and match the UV into them but I couldn't find them so kenshi brand rust was the next best thing. As for the Compensator... I think the description I wrote for it was less than serious. I can honestly and truly say that I made that with no intention of ever using it as anything other than a bad joke. It is excessively OP, and may you shoot many of your own party members with it. :) Glad you enjoy them tho.

Love the idea of it, looks amazing in game with the slimmed down harpoon models (except compensator, which is laughably big held up to the eyes like that), and a lot more lore friendly than other gun mods. Shame they make crossbow noises instead of harpoon when fired, but I get how hard SFX are to implement in Kenshi.

Also, is the rust colour the only colour?

Got to the Scrapyard. Checked with the vender skelly. No harpoon guns what so ever, but there were other mod weapons there so he can obviously sell them.

I want to add more before I do the squad, I'm kind of looking into making mounts, I think I can do it, but I'm not sure if it will be possible to attack while mounted. Once I have that sorted I'll add in a cowboy(or girl) style gang. So a few extra items to kinda flesh that out.

Yeah, i love the weapon cause it's a double edged blade.

Yes it's powerful.

But it can hit teammates. Early game that WILL fucking kill them. It's great.

Alright cool. I believe I will just have to import once you fix it right? or do I have to start over?

my theory was that there wasn't handheld harpoons in the game, because harpoon turrets require power to function, and thus a handheld harpoon, without some source of power, wouldn't make sense.

But this won't stop me from subbing to that dope mod.

I've always wondered why there weren't handheld harpoons you could use in vanilla. Anyways, cool mod. Deals pretty good damage too.

They take long bolts. I'll add a new squad based start when I get around to re-texturing and fixing the bugs. working on some custom armours atm for my own play through.
