I guess it's a Mod conflict. I had figured out how Better Barbarshop worked, but then EPE had a problem i fixed EPE now and now Better Barbarshop is gone again. But i don't want to play without any of these Mods. And i know these Mods work together because previously i have played with both of them.

Better Barbarshop doesn't work anymore on the current patch at least for me. I don't know if anyone else has this problem but my mod just won't work the way i remember. Has the functionality changed? Or is my mod just broken?

Is anyone else experiencing a lot of random npcs showing up naked? Cant figure out if its from this mod.

I have to pin a lot (like more than 100 people) because I have configurable News Feed Installed and I like notifications of what is going on in different countries, yet having so many pins means Better Barbershop will sometimes not even load for an hour, as the pin function exists there. Can someone show me how to edit the mod to remove the pin function in the background section of Better Barbershop? Or make a copy without this, if you have the time, please let me know.

Yeah, I'd have to agree with GG that it's not from this. I've not run into it in my past few games. One mod that is actively been missing from them is EPE, so it's a likely contender for the cause.

I think the full eyebrows opacity when naked is from EPE mod.

No it depends on the ethnic/culture that offspring is born from. It will copy some of your genes and eye color but changing hair isn't inherent.

"You just dying your hair, not doing gene editing" Both true and false. Hair color is genetic lol. It actually annoyed me when my child had black hair and I had red hair but it is a base game thing though so not on you.

Bug:

When using the "undress" button, the character's eyebrows change to full opacity.

Mostly notable if the character has somewhat transparent eyebrows to begin with (blonde/redhead), they'll turn full brown/black.

Wasn't an issue when designing the character in the "Better Ruler Designer" mod (which also has a nudity toggle)

Changed hair color is not inheritable?

Do you have any mods that make a change to or add anything to the character UI? The shears are still there for me? At least you do have a way to access it, so it's not a huge loss, just an extra step to get there.

I got to the bottom of it, The mod still works and I can still access it, but I have to do the right click on character thing to do it now. The shears used to show up when on the characters main screen where you see other info like languages, education focus, etc. This small change threw me. It's possible that another mod that was also updated to 1.18+ changed this and I've just not noticed till today. Been a busy few days of mod updating.

I think the latest patch did something to this mod. I can only access barbershop now for immediate family, no one in the rest of the world. I'll resubscribe and see if that fixes it.

I can't change the color of clothes, nor can I paste DNA. Is this normal?

@hamletsdead the reason why BB lags and then fails to open after 100-200 years is due to ♥♥♥♥♥♥ paradox programming AFAIK. basically, whenever you load a character, it doesnt load JUST that character...it loads all the "related" characters and it has to figure out which characters are related and then it preloads them into the BB (2nd tab).

i dont remember where i read this but it sounds plausible. the logic would be that the higher the world pop = the more characters it's having to sort through etc

i run into this problem a lot because i like to play as really big dynasties so by several generations in its sorting through dozens or hundreds of characters that are related to mine. but even if i opened on it an unrelated character, it would then be trying to sort through all the characters related to tehm while trying to load.

I saw them yesterday when I started a new game. Check your mod order, might have a conflict going on.

@XelaM it wouldn't be the first time they've done it. I don't touch any accessories, only the UI, so if you don't have them in vanilla, report it on the bug forum.

Is there some sort of bug with this dlc, because I can't see any of the new beards in the character creator or in barbershop. I think the hairstyles are showing up properly?

@Brochacho conflict with another mod, most likely. Put it below Community Flavor Pack, if you use it. When in doubt, put it at the bottom of your playset.

Would it be possible to implement a mechanic to set different clothings as the default clothes for a character? Do you know where the default clothing ID is defined in the characters information?

Does anyone know why BB works great when you start the game and then slllllloooowwwly longer and longer to load? At this point 100 years in my screen freezes when I try to open it, and if I'm lucky it resolves by giving me a blank barbershop with no one in it. Then I exit out, retry and it opens immediately. But 50/50 now that it opens at all, which is driving me crazy. And it's not a mod issue -- BB works perfectly at game start, it just starts lagging like a bee-hah after a while.

Hello, I'm on CK3 version 1.17.1 and it takes forever to load the BB screen (as in 4-5 minutes). Then the CBO tab takes 10 min to load. What's wrong? Also, which is the best BB CBO compatch?

Heya, love the mod so far, however I made the mistake of changing the hairstyle of a vampire and now it looks just like any other mortal. I saw you could apply aesthetic traits but sadly "vampire" isn't one of them. Any way to give my vampire courtier it's original appearance with the vampire eyes and light skin complexion? Otherwise I just learned a valuable lesson.

This with Patrum Scuta mess with artifact icons, but its only base AGOT artifact icons LoV are untouched, very weird lol. And putting Better Barbershop last also helped

Do you use Search & Trade Artifacts or More Dragon Eggs or Love Marriage Family? Or, like me, all of it?

1) Love Marriage Family has been integrated with AGOT and needs to be removed from the playlist.
2) Search & Trade Artifacts have an AGOT compability patch and More Dragon Eggs have an Search & Trade Artifacts compability patch.
3) One mod was still causing problems with artifacts, if I find it I will add it, because it was updated and the problems disappeared.
