The telemetry URL is down for years, it was only used at the beginning of development. Try accessing the address in your browser.

Cool addon, but the developer didn't state that they collect telemetry (so called "statistics"), and what data exactly they collect. Neither in description, nor in extended FAQ.
Data they collect includes but not limited to: hostname (your PC name), IP address, played gamemode, installed addons.

Yeah that didn't fix it but what did was finding those maps that were being force voted and then manual deselecting them even if they say they're aren't selected

Always reload the game after you change the selection.

This addons seems to have a habit of makign certain maps download even though when i check the downloader_menu it doesn't show the maps as being made to download

When I run the command downloader_menu the menu pops up but is empty under all categories All / Ignored / Manual / Selected.

can this work for just like playign with ur freinds will it get them to auto download them

Tl;dr;

UWD can run on dedicated servers, is fully automatic, includes some optimizations, checks for PointShop1 missing files, supports FastDL and ServerDL and has a different control panel.

Feel free to use whatever you prefer, Addon Share also works on its own way.
