all the upgrades work for me if you want more upgrade slots just alter it in the ini file

Weapons still aren't upgradeable in 2024. I guess this is a dead mod.

How do you upgrade the CR-2 Blaster Rifle? Neither the Assault Rifle nor the Bullpup squad upgrade works.

The newer weapons, such as the CR-2, don't seem to upgrade. Not sure if its conflicting with anything else, but it's possible it could be on this mod's end.

with the new update only the Valken-38X shows up for me. the other newly added guns dont appear. do i need magnetics or anything? its a fairly new savegame i use

@coreypatton- Not sure which of the cosmetics packs I've got running it's in, but there are parts for IG-88. Doesn't work for SPARKS, though. There's also a pack that replaces the gremlin with a TIE fighter.

Will there ever be a droid cosmetic pack, no B1's or CIS stuff but other kinds of droids like the IG-series and some bulkier models for SPARKS and something else for Gremlins?

I've got a question somewhat similar to Boogeymane's. Since there's multiple sniper rifles, pistols, and assault rifles, how hard would it be to alter one of each to count as a vektor rifle, autopistol, and bullpup respectively? Is it something I could do on my end just using the .ini files, or would it take something more involded with the modding tools? Personally, I don't mind the slight inconsistencies this solution might cause- like the firing animations not being the same as their new weapon types- which is why I ask the question. I'm already planning to do some .ini modifications to bring the weapon stats in line with the ones from the A Better Arsenal (lite) mod I use- though if that's not the right approach, please let me know so I don't mess things up too badly lol.

I'm not sure how to modify weapons, but i know how to change what weapons can a class use.

In this case you will need to find the relevant "XcomClassData.ini" file

And you will need to add the following line to it

+AllowedWeapons=(SlotType=eInvSlot_PrimaryWeapon, WeaponType="Cannon")

if you don't know where it is it should be under (by default) \steamapps\workshop\content\268500

If i'm correct the folder for that class should be 1265143828

It seems the 'heavy weapon' class in this case, so that also includes the M-45.

I'm using this with the 'Proficiency Class Pack' mod, and it seems the Bowcaster is no longer usable due to the 'Grenadier' class no longer applicable to these classes. Is there a way I can modify the .INI for the weapon list to add Bowcaster so that it can be used in different classes?

Also second request on reducing the volume of the weapon sounds. Thank you for this great mod!

when are the weapons going to be available for reaper and the other special characters? i can equip your pistols with them, but not sniper rifles with the reaper for instance.

If you happen to post another update, you might want to make sure the first letter of each word in the weapons' titles are capitalized (e.g. DL-44 Heavy Blaster Pistol instead of DL-44 heavy blaster pistol), as that's how the weapon names are formatted in the base game.

Is their a way to force a specific weapon upgrade? In my campaign the upgraded versions are not appearing. For example when I research magnetic weapons these weapons to do not upgrade and stay as the starting weapon damage.

is anyone else having an issue with the blasters being extremely loud?
