it isn't working for hearts that are naturally spawned, but if you get a heart from a chest it will glow for some reason

Make the mimics glow too please

Putting this mod under "Disable Auto Pickup of Collectibles" mod fixed the glow for me.

Hearts are not glowing for me. Please see discussion for more.

Pushed an update to make the emitted particles more pink. (Also one that changes chests.) There's still a slight yellowish cast to the particles that I'm not sure how to remove, but they're definitely distinct now.

I'm afraid I don't know about tree pillars, as I haven't tried getting any yet. I know Steam achievements don't fire with mods.

Can you still get the tree pillars with mods? I wasn't sure, and didn't want minor quality of life to fuck up my progress saving

no i took them all off and started a new game with just the one idk why its only not working for me

It's possible it could be a conflict with another mod that overwrites the same files. I don't know of any mods that do, but if you let me know which other mods you're using I can check and see if there are any conflicts. (Also, just to check, did you start a new game after activating it? Due to the way this mod works it only takes effect after starting a new game.)

I've just checked, and this mod appears to be working fine with the 1.0 update.

I know this is random, but has anyone attempted to make a MAP? One that shows progress, even the cave alterations? This needs to be done. I didnt have any other place to post this, since you are modifying an object to show, I figured I'd give you the idea to do so. Maybe something that shows at the bottom left, or right.

@GЯEЕD🔆 All right, turns out it wasn't actually that hard to solve! I've just uploaded a Heart Radar mod, though note that because it overwrites the same files as this mod you can't use them together at the moment (I may be able to change this in the future).

I like the idea of Heart Radar, but having looked into it it's slightly beyond me at the moment. I may keep tinkering with it over time though.

Can you make perk like wand or enemy radar, but with hearts?
