I get you @GENSEC and I'm truly disappointed i thought it would become the new and better antistasi but unfortunately they stopped quite early in the development

Also why do it raises suspition talking about military with civilians? It's a small talk on the side of the road, it's not like both of us screaming at eachother about corruption at the top of our lungs.

Someday this message will be drowned in people asking for techical help but i dont care. So this mod is pretty cool and all but it has the same issues Antistasi had. Low level outposts have unproportionaly more soldiers than they should have, like 50 dudes on one radio tower pissed me off in anti but here it's like two shacks in the middle of nowhere, boom, same 50 dudes, what are you guarding here? Map quickly becomes flooded with attack directions, enemy commander just sends attacks everywhere almost completely unprovoked. I start one assault on a small town and met with mongolian hordes of enemies coming from everywhere. I try to intercept a convoy, there is like 20 guys. I dont fell like a guerilla if to start something i need the same horde of bots, even then they die like it's their sole mission in life, wasting my precious gear in the process. IDK it just pisses me off playing this mod.

@Gunter it is good but no more support and in it's current state it's multiplayer exclusive though you can play it solo but it's really hard and the ai aren't as dependable as antistasi

100hrs+ into this mod and I can safely say it's both better than any version of Antistasi but ultimately unfinished. If you want a semi-sandbox small scale skirmish mod, go for this. If you want all-out war, go for Antistasi :)

Arsenal system is fully broken, don't play. I lost all the gear pressing unload vehicle. Don't waste your time like I did.

That's sad, how did you move the saves? Did you use filext mod? If no, then you can load Vindicta with FileXT, save the game, then load it with FileXT on destination machine. You can also join our Discord (link is in description), because I barely check those comments now.

i tried to import saves from another pc
i broke something, now everytime i try to load anything game crashes

i reinstalled mods, deleted and recreated all related folders and files
did reset profiles, still i cant get it back to working? how can i fix it

just so people know they moved to arma reforger

the reason the mod is no longuer worked on I think some real life situation made it impossible to continue working on it, so if you want something like vindicta you should get Antistasi Ultimate.

For anyone who is asking or looking, the creators were busy when I last spoke with them in early 2023 to continue this mod, so this mod would no longer be receiving updates. If they wish to comment and prove me wrong, they may, but I doubt they will.

Since it is no longer being actively developed, are there any forks of this?

@Ace you made my day that got me laughing for a while i wanted to make the same complaint but i was lazy so i just left it but now it makes sense even AI knows it's Russian

So a few years ago I came to your Discord and complained about how Russians were using human wave tactics and seemed to just keep sending tanks and helicopters to die over and over and over and over and over again nonstop even to the point that it would amount to absurd and unsustainable real world losses, and I complained how that was miserably unrealistic.

I would like to apologize, given the last few years of seeing Russia's military in action.

I think it might happen if you also have Antistasi mod loaded, try to unload it.

For some reason when i scroll on the arsenal box the action "external inventory to arsenal" doesnt appear, is there a fix to this?

When you are on the island, map should open up where you must select spawn point and it will teleport you there.
If however for some reason map doesn't open up, try to open it yourself.

Can you change the initial game startup spawn point? Every time I start a game and when I attempt to re spawn I re spawn at the far nnw Island (Atsalis island) on the map, although I do click on the spawn last location and gear some times I still spawn on this island.

It was supported some years ago, but I don't know state of KAT mod now, it might not work with Vindicta any more.
