It's a problem with Forgotten Fronts heads, something about them is incompatible with some other WW2 mod.

@The Battle Bishop The Polish units use the IFA3 Red Army gear while the Red Army uses the kit from Northern Fronts, their uniforms differ and are the lighter colored uniforms you see in the 3rd screenshot.

Is there anything which helps recognise Polish kits from regular red army stuff?

@;---; huh Just tried it out and the planes work fine for me, as for the white screen on the tanks, try pressing the + or - buttons on the numpad, as the Real Panzer mod adds new views for tanks. You should also try and see what mods you are running as some of them might interfere with one another.

yeah i mean like taking control of the unit just shows a white screen on most variants of tanks and some planes

@Frosted Vert From the research I conducted while making this mod, it would appear that such units did still wear distinctive uniforms but said units were not used to a large scale as for the Naval infantry only having a single brigade; the 260th, seeing action in East Prussia, but in the case of the NKVD, by 1945 they had around 53 divisions and 28 brigades.

Just wondering, I've been reading campaign histories of Bagration, the Romania Campaign, Budapest and the road to Berlin - When units are listed as being made up of NKVD troops, Naval Infantry etc., in 1944-45, were they still wearing distinctive uniforms at that point?

I can't imagine NKVD border troops had any manpower or stores left over by that part of the war, many formations killed to the last man in 1941-42, so were these Red Army formations with purely symbolic names, or was there more to it?

@RDM Cobra @ITA@ Thank you for your kind words, on of my other mods; The world in turmoil, has a few of the Italian armies present during the war but are not as accurate as the Germany and Soviet mods are. As for a standalone Italy mod at the moment I'm not sure this is possible, the content necessary for such a configuration just isn't available yet and I have no idea how to model or texture for arma.

Hi, I am a passionate Italian historical researcher of the Second World War, I wanted to congratulate you on your beautiful works. In my humble opinion they are really very accurate. As a researcher and as a player I wanted to ask you if in your future projects there is also Italy as a belligerent nation during the Second World War. Personally I have books with a lot of information and tables / photos, I also have some Italian uniforms and weapons (I am a WW2 reenactor). And I'm ready to share them with you as images and photos, hoping that in the near future we can also see WWII Italy on Arma III and be able to play with an equally interesting and varied army.

I also have some factions suggestions. It is just an ideas, so you should do as you see fit.

* Indo-Pakistan Wars. Indeed, there are several major and minor conflicts of different eras with different equipment. Tons of interesting stuff.
* Alternative Cuban Missile Crisis 1962. You know, some sorta "cold war becomes hot" scenarios.
* Second Lebanese War 2006. I'm not sure if there will be any significant differences in equipment that is presented in big mods but it worth checking out.
* Myanmar/Burmese Civil War. Again, there are so many stuff to research but it may not really be possible to make in arma due to a lack of chinese equipment of cold war era. But it's also worth checking out.

Well, I hope that will be interesting for you. I'm a fan of your factions addons and I'm sure that this stuff will be interesting to research, to adapt in Arma, and more intersteing to play.

Any idea how to get ORBAT mods to work with DRO? The mission spawns vanilla units as enemies instead of the mod's. Really love the content of your mods but cant think of another way to play with them.
