Nothing changes concerning how you unlock the shout and either of the three words associated with it.
Yober 21. mar. 2014 kl. 22:19
do you have to unlock it or dose it just come with out it in the player and you dont have to un lock pleas rspond
Hemmy 16. feb. 2014 kl. 9:51
Hey thanks! I didn't actually think anyone would be decent enough to spend time on one little request.
LittleRedNurgling  [ophavsmand] 16. feb. 2014 kl. 7:01
Done; you should be able to find it over at the Nexus right now under "optional files" (same link).
Hemmy 14. feb. 2014 kl. 22:03
I would really like a version of this that gives the "fus" part of the shout the same ability. Do you know of any or could you possibly make on like this? thanks!

I hope this mod is good for when I play skyrim next time
LittleRedNurgling  [ophavsmand] 27. aug. 2012 kl. 16:23
Unfortunately I don't think I know how to force limits on what level of each shout the Draugr do know. If it's a problem with this mod, refer to my 2nd reply.
7R1P0D 27. aug. 2012 kl. 11:43
so would that make scourges use level 1 shout while overlords use level 2 (or 3? not sure what they use since theyre both pretty similar now with the mod)

I still want scourges to use the weak shout, just not knock me over because there's so many of them in higher level characters
LittleRedNurgling  [ophavsmand] 27. aug. 2012 kl. 6:40
To fix your problem, you could either use my other mod (boss or non-boss variant whichever, shout-specific variants if you got it off the Nexus), or you could go into the Creation Kit and do this: search "EncDraugr04Template" in the object window (using the filter box at the top left); double-click on the form file once you've found it, and then a window will appear; click on SpellList in the tabs at the top of the window; simply click where it says UnrelentingForceShoutDraugr, and click the delete key; click OK at the bottom left, and then save of course. You could also change the Draugr's shout recharge times, if you want me to explain that to you instead.
7R1P0D 26. aug. 2012 kl. 22:38
well when I said lower level I meant scourges. Im fine with them shout stunning me, but not throwing me around because they are way more common than overlords, especially later on where in some cases you have to fight 3 scourges and an overlord all at the same time and they all shout you to the ground constantly
LittleRedNurgling  [ophavsmand] 25. aug. 2012 kl. 12:24
If he still knocks you over without this mod, then there really is no problem. If he's not doing a full Fus Ro Dah and he is still knocking you over, then there is a problem. And anything less than a Draugr Scourge (regardless of whether you used my other mod or not) should not know how to shout at all. That includes Draugr Wrights, Restless Draugr, and standard low-level Draugr. Scourges, Overlords, and Deathlords still know how to shout unless you use my other mod.
7R1P0D 24. aug. 2012 kl. 22:46
ok so the draugr that are knocking me over (overlord in the golden claw quest) are meant to, and I won't get shout spammed to the ground later on by lower level draugr?
LittleRedNurgling  [ophavsmand] 24. aug. 2012 kl. 12:20
Don't forget that this only affects Fus Ro. Fus Ro Dah will still knock you over, I never planned to change that. And it won't conflict with my other mod, because it messes with the Draugr NPC templates, and this just messes with the Draugr shout ID and the Fus Ro spell ID. They are two different things.
7R1P0D 24. aug. 2012 kl. 3:11
so wait, has this one been updated, or do I have to download one of your other ones to make the draugr shouts not knock me over? because I still get knocked down using just this
LittleRedNurgling  [ophavsmand] 2. juli 2012 kl. 13:25
You're making me regret not saying that :C
eldritchsyntax (hammerfell) 2. juli 2012 kl. 13:21
Thank you! oh and this is completely irrelevant, but I immediately imagined you saying "Good news everyone!"
LittleRedNurgling  [ophavsmand] 2. juli 2012 kl. 12:57
There you go, it's uploaded.
LittleRedNurgling  [ophavsmand] 2. juli 2012 kl. 11:23
Good news; I've discovered how to get rid of the grey areas. All I have to do is edit the templates and every draugr which uses them will become affected as well, which means I've discovered what their true purpose is. I'll have a mod uploaded soon that completely removes shouting from the Draugr.
LittleRedNurgling  [ophavsmand] 2. juli 2012 kl. 10:56
Well it can't be caused by this mod, that's for sure, and if it was, it would probably be Bethesda's radiant AI fucking us over. But looking at the fun side, it's kind of fun to spawn a few (or a lot of) draugr deathlords at some place like the Riverwood entrance and then watch them all Fus Ro Dah you at once as you try to reach the sky.
eldritchsyntax (hammerfell) 1. juli 2012 kl. 14:36
Sorry. I can't continue with all the shout-spam. With late-game characters (such as lv 50) I have experimented, and every draugr I meet will attempt to use whatever shout they have as soon as they can. (such as their shout cooldown is over). Whatever I do (disarm them, shield bash them, knock them down) They immediately inhale and attempt to shout: over and over and over and over. Unless I pick them off one at a time, or use "shalidor's mirror" (a ward mod) any nordic ruin becomes practically impossible late-game. It has gotten to the point where 4 draugr scourges are more difficult than alduin. When every draugr I meet will shout before anything else, a simple encounter with a draugr will alert some other draugr. The first will use his shout, and the others will follow. this times their shouts so that I get hit while I'm down.
LittleRedNurgling  [ophavsmand] 25. juni 2012 kl. 17:10
There's a problem with trying to make all the draugr stop using shouts. Not only that, but I've also discovered some Draugr Death Overlords use the player's version of Unrelenting Force, as do many of the draugr use the same shouts the player does. The worst part is that for some odd reason, you can't edit these out of the NPCs. Either it's a bug or Bethesda's deliberate fault, but the Creation Kit won't allow me to edit stuff such as this out of the NPC; the field along with many others is always grayed-out and I don't think there's a way to get rid of it. The best I can do to make the shout spam a little less is delete the Draugr version of Unrelenting Force (which isn't even used by all Draugr), which helps a little, but anything else would be detrimental to the player because all except for that shout is shared.
7R1P0D 25. juni 2012 kl. 13:59
thanks for the tip hammer, you can also try lengthening the recharge time for the Draugr shout so it doesn't get spammed in areas with 3+ high level guys if that won't lengthen the players shout recharge as well
eldritchsyntax (hammerfell) 24. juni 2012 kl. 22:40
And forget high-level characters. I'm telling you, something is screwy for me, one unrelenting force means death. I've been shouted at over 9 times before getting up. If you could by any means create a mod that removes this shout (if not all) from the undead, I will be forever grateful.
eldritchsyntax (hammerfell) 24. juni 2012 kl. 12:07
well, as of now the draugr still knock me down, It's kind of okay, considering that my mage character can use shalidor's mirror (from the mirror-ward mod) and send it back at him, but with any character not using a ward or spellbreaker, I have to pick off draugr one by one to avoid them taking turns shouting me to the ground.
LittleRedNurgling  [ophavsmand] 24. juni 2012 kl. 9:41
You don't need to listen to the friend request anymore, problem with the comments is fixed. But back to your question:

I can't seem to find the right script or form type file that sets how long it takes for NPCs or the player to get back up from a knockdown. I think that has more to do with the animation, which I don't have the knowledge or the tools to mess around with. And actually, I did find that one mod "Duel - Combat Realism" says it makes the recovery time from knockdowns faster, so I might check into that if you haven't already.
7R1P0D 23. juni 2012 kl. 7:32
I'm ok with the high level Draugr pushing you around with it, it adds a challenge (you can still dodge the shout like with arrows) The issue is enemies get up from the shout in 5 seconds while you get up in 10, meaning you have to digest like 50% of your health potions while some boss dude is slamming you as you slowly get up like an old man. any chance you could just decrease the stand-up time for the Player? Is there another mod that already does that?
eldritchsyntax (hammerfell) 12. juni 2012 kl. 19:39
I'll let you know the next time I see a deathlord with the unrelenting force, and tell you if it staggered
eldritchsyntax (hammerfell) 12. juni 2012 kl. 19:39
Hmm.. Maybe you're right. I made sure the update went through since my last comment, but (imagine my luck), I can't test if it worked because (right now of all times) I can't find a draugr with the shout.
LittleRedNurgling  [ophavsmand] 12. juni 2012 kl. 15:49
Are you sure it was updated? I'm sorry, but I've triple-checked and I'm not able to find any mistakes, especially since I'm having trouble trying to get Skyrim to run right now (version mismatch, verify integrity didn't work). Basically, since the Draugr have a separate version of Unrelenting Force, I tried fixing the problem by making the Draugr version of the shout rely on a new projectile type that's the same as vanilla; no knockdowns. And even then, I can't find a single Draugr NPC (the files, I mean) except for a few templates/test ones that use the player's version of Unrelenting Force. So I don't know, it may be your own build, or it may not even be bug. Could be a setting you changed.
eldritchsyntax (hammerfell) 12. juni 2012 kl. 14:18
umm.. the draugr are still as shout-happy as ever. In fact, upon seeing one, it immediately goes for a shout. Think of it this way: what if you were playing arena mode in tf2, and suddenly the enemy team does a huntsman rush. That's pretty much the situation I'm in.
eldritchsyntax (hammerfell) 12. juni 2012 kl. 11:33
thanks
LittleRedNurgling  [ophavsmand] 12. juni 2012 kl. 11:29
Updated. Thanks for notifying me.
eldritchsyntax (hammerfell) 12. juni 2012 kl. 10:52
Hm.. I like the idea, but I think this mod is giving me trouble with draugr. Now they spam unrelenting force, which always throws me. I can't get up when fighting a draugr scourge because it will spam the shout. The shout sometimes pulls a huntsman on me, and will send me flying after I dodged it.
Fourteen Rabid Raccoons 15. apr. 2012 kl. 14:53
Just thought M'aiq should comment... Fus is a short stumble in the base game, Fus Ro is a stronger stumble, and Fus Ro Dah is a knockback. It goes throught three stages...
LittleRedNurgling  [ophavsmand] 14. apr. 2012 kl. 14:39
I don't see how, because as I said, it only edits the MGEF that controls the effect of the Fus Ro shout, so there shouldn't be any problems at all. But just in case, what is this shout-for-speech mod you speak of?
eldritchsyntax (hammerfell) 14. apr. 2012 kl. 1:50
It may be a silly question, but I have a funny mod that makes shouts level up the speech skill. Would this affect it? (ah to heck with it. I'm getting the mod anyway)
