If this was originally going to take place at night, that line of dialog from the helicopter pilot on the radio about "seeing flashes on the west bank", referring to the survivor's gunfire, makes a lot more sense.

@Clamptastic - not exactly. The Parish was the first campaign Valve worked on and they might've designed the campaign itself first before the new cast hence the L4D1 survivors (they act as placeholders).

the map is fantastic in l4d1 style, 1 small issue, THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH HIGH DIFFICULTY, it was an ass to play in realism ex, i fucking hate it more than cold stream and other bad map design, the amount of unfair and broken special spawn are ridiculous and I am so glad it was not official, 5/10, terrible balance but very unique map

@Mad Scout Ah thanks for the correction, never understood what some people would say on the l4d2 workshop. But i would try to understand there problem regardless.

As long as i live i will never understand why some people will choose to delete comments on there own workshop items in the l4d2 workshop. ( makes me not want to comment at all sometimes. )

@Back4Blood are you using custom tank models or the original?

I'm not sure why, but my FPS tanks with this map, and it eventually crashes. I've tried just about everything.

Is this what it originally was like back in the early stages of the parish? They should've kept it this way. Would've added a much more eerie feeling to the campaign.

Ugh, I already feel my wrist getting sore.
Thanks for the advice, I'll be sure to wear a helmet when I ram myself into a wall with anger.

@ Sanghelli, I just checked my files and I still have the 1st version I did of the map. It only has 1 room addition added and no other stuff added that I can remember, It doesnt even have the boat intro in it. If youd like to use it I can send it to you saving you a ton of time, complete with navs.

@ Piers Nivans, try to verify your game cache snf if that doesn't fix it try disabling addons that should get you running again.

@ Sangelli, You'll see quickly why things were done like they are in this campaign. Missing files, missing textures, missing props, missing soundscapes ect... When you dig in you will find some really bad errors that are map killers. When you get to these and if you don't know what to do to fix them let me know and I'll be happy to help you out. Don't forget to wear a hard hat while working on it as you will bang your head on your keyboard and have many face palms.

it crash when i activate the alarm at the first part

@herzog, which part does it crash? It may be a simple fix to reverify the game cache or disable custom addons.
