i think this mod messes with abyss creature spawns now with the new update, when enabled they will not spawn on their own. beware

FYI Mod isn't being worked on anymore bens in college and doesen't have time to work on this anymore. And yeah the observer seems to kill itself and its ragdoll is unstable and will kill your entire crew if it touches the ship

I really wish there was more content that teaches people how to use character creator. i barley know how to make a sprite sheet. sucks because i have a lot of cool ideas that i draw up but i cant create them

Everyone if are looking towards playing xanmonsters1/2 download the XanmonsterITA patch it still works even though it hasn't been updated for like 4 months its still work until now

Yea i though as much just wanted to put out there in just in case. There are some rare instances where the artifacts do spawn on the floor but 90% of the time they just get blocked from spawning. They do spawn when it's given by a mission but on their own every single ruin i've come across with this and XanM1 has the artifact holder empty and no artifacts spawn on the map. My guess would be something about the spawnlist. Tried even clean install and disabling all other mods and it's still caused whenever i turn on this mod.
The new update messed up a lot of stuff so i wouldn't be surprised if it was because of the new update.
Still it's a great mod and i can sacrifice some artifacts for the new missions/monsters. But having both would be even better. :D

@DawaPawa Huh werid is normal for me Artifacts still spawn normally both in ruins and cavefloor. i think the dev is busy with irl stuff rn so he's not updating the mod and replying to comments hope he comes back soon love his mods.

Hello could you please update? Eversince the new update, both Xanmonsters 1 and 2 cause no artifacts to spawn both on the cavefloor and in the ruins. It's like it's literally blocking the spawns, since just disabling this mod the artifacts spawn again even on the same save/map.

Try(both you and your friends) deleting the XanMonsters2 folder inside Barotrauma's Mod folder, This way you all should have the same mod version.

Sure, ill change its name with the next update; about the scavenger suggestion from Okri, it should be doable and i think its a pretty good idea as a possible lure mechanic, thanks for the suggestion!

Thanks for the mod, love it! I don't know how the coding would work, but if think it would be fitting if Scavengers were attracted to non-beacon Depth Charges. I mean it does look like a nice piece of scrap for them to scavenge as is sinks down.

It is working great in my single player campaign, haven't done either of the three bosses since the patch but the other spawns are working fine :)

Played yesterday extensively, about 10 hours of testing. No issues besides one group of people getting disconnected out but being able to rejoin OK. It may have been a wreck mod, as disabling the Shipwrecks Extended Mod (not new wrecks for baro) has eradicated issues. I intend to keep testing with the mods on today.

Most likely not, i havent had time to test if it causes crashes with the new version, however if anyone provides crash logs/ describes an issue ill try to make to correct it

Idk if you dont want this to happen but on lower difs passive monsters like scavengers and observers replace the common crawlers and husks i kind of like it also the whole scavenger loot idea was good its just from what i remember there was nothing in the missions desc telling us to loot the scavengers.

So apparently when people are trying to join my campaign when I have this mod enabled, it tries to download it but never finishes so they can't join. Tried with 3-5 people and they all have the same problem.
