One of, if not the best scenario for ARMA 3 ever made for SP. I don't know why I cannot find any YT videos of people playing it. Probably cuz it's not easy. It is very fun though.

Just ran into something. when you search the grave's caryall backpack, you get a .45, but the magazines don't match. Only the 11 round magazines fit in the gun, not the 9 rounders.

Sorry for my English. Congratulations. It is a magnificent mission. It's perfect, except for one detail, and it's nonsense. Change just the destination point when you finish the missions and put it on the island of Morya. I looked stupid and waited for the mission to finish. I almost left there. But the mission is great.

All ok now, it was some mod going rogue that messed up his talking. Played it again with a bare minimum of mods and he talked.

Anyway, updated the scenario a bit, performance should be a bi improved and the FPS drop will take less time now.

Sorry, man, can't reproduce the bug. For me he talks. I don't know what workaround to offer you, maybe if the trigger doesn't get placed correctly, try to run around the container within and cover every spot within 10 meters radius from the convtainer. Maybe that will work. Or, if somehow the dialog didn't happen for you, maybetry to search his laptop if the action is available. Although I'm not sure these things will work, but it's all I can think of right now. Sorry for the inconvenience. And, anyway, I'd like to know if that happened for somebody else. If I get more information, like what you did before that, where you went, what objectives did you complete, then maybe I could find that bug, if it exists.

You need to go into his container closer to him and then he will say something. He will not talk from outside. And then you will have to take the info from his laptop. OK, when I have time, I will investigate this.

Well grid reference i don't have but on map its like left of where the bandit camp is.
Don't know about storyline either but both times i tried he was sitting there, and that was all he did. 1st time i took the antenna before seeing him, and next time (after reading walkthrough) i did all the other things before i took him last.

Also, his container's position is randomized. Can you write to me which location of LJ's shack you got? (Grid reference)

Hi, could you please tell me exactly when he is not talking? In the beginning? or later? Please describe which storyline did you get? Then I will take a look and try to find out what's wrong. There is one storyline when he dies, then, of course,he will not talk to you anymore (would be strange if he did...). In thet case, the SCT will be located somewhere else...

Hi, there is a way, but since the treasure is super duper awesome, it is not quite straightforward, there is a little puzzle that you need to solve. See the walkthrough, make sure you follow the steps. I have tested this many times and it has to work. If you absolutely cannot get there then I will take a look at it. But it absolutely has to work.

Very nice, possibly the best SP scenario I've played.

Also, if you want more missions like this, try my previous mission "Postman in Altis". It's not that good in quality as this one, I didn't have that much experience then and it's a bit simplier in terms of storyline, but nevertheless it's fun.

Updated the mission. The QET should now appear correctly in the bandit's camp. Also, tweaked the chances of QET locations slightly and fixed those worker not to shout "enemy!" at you. I hope You're all having fun and not getting stuck because of some bug. In case you encounter a game-breaking bug, which doesn't allow you to complete the mission, write to me, if circumstances allow, I will try to work it out. Have fun!

So, is anyone having trouble with the quantum entanglement transcomunicator objective? Has anyone managed to complete this yet?

Updated the walkthrough. Fixed some spelling mistake, added some general tips. Pretty much everything should be included now, although still cannot guarantee the exact precision of locations, but now it should be complete.

Hi, For the newspaper, you can search the nearby phone booths for some change. You will find one euro. But it is not necessary at all. You can just keep begging for it again and again and you will receive it in the end. As for the medic, well, there are plenty of medkits everywhere, but if you want to heal, rest in any of the safehouses. This should heal you completely.

Hi, loving this scenario as it's unusual. Without giving too much away, i have 2 question and I don't think these are covered in the walkthrough and I haven't come across anything so far, to get the newspaper and food you need money, where do you get that? and if wounded the first aid kits do not heal completely, is there a medic or place to fully heal?

Updated the walkthough again. Everything should be there, only it is entrely from memory, so some things might not be precise, but the description of the main objectives should be precise and should be enough to help you if you get stuck.

One more thing about the objectives: You only need the toolkit for the fuel sucker and the Ionic teleconductor, and that's only if you're going to extract them directly form a car/plane. But there are also other ways to get them.

OK, I guess some people are struggling, so if I have any time, I will compile a walkthrough. But no promises that this will be any time soon.

about the bandit's base: If you have been directed to the bandit's base, the objective will be there, not near any of the comms towers. It should be located on the floor inside the little shack that's in the bandits base. Try that, it looks like a sattelite phone inside a case. If you cannot find it anway, tell me. I mean if that's the quantum entanglement transcommunicator you are talking about. Because not always, but also the transfunctioner will sometimes be there, it will be behind the shack, but, this will not always happen, only if the storyline was randomly chosen so.

Having fun overall, however struggling with the communication tower objective. Been directed to the bandit's base by one tower, cleaned that out but cannot find the task item either there or at the second tower (where the radio is located) I have the toolkit so not sure what I'm missing?

Also, how's it going for you? Has anybody completed this? Would you like a walkthrough or something?

As for the "why pilot" question, I thought it would be hilarious, it would add some character to the mission. Had it been a soldier, it wouldn't be so original. This mission is full of WTF moments, and this is one of them.

Alright. Updated the decription. You know, my PC is some 7 years old and handles this mission without problems, so I thought that if this runs well for me, it will run fine for everyone else.

its actually much better after bout 45 secs or so. maybe edit the description a little so that people dont keep moaning bout it

ahh right see i just booted it n saw the fps n thought f this. i will restart it n leave it running for a few mins or so n see if that changes anything.

MAybe you could be more specific: in what places do you have low FPS? In towns? Or where? Because I tested a bit and it seems alright for me, apart from the firs few seconds. After the first few seconds everything becomes normal. So, exactly, in what places do you have low FPS?
