Love the ‘karma’ system; made me wish the basegame has it. At first the missions look linear, but if you dig deeper enough, you can go another route. The player is never 'forced' to do evil.
There are some minor problems however, which is during the 'showdown' with the antagonist and some grammar mistakes. When the antagonist decides to attack you with jumping nodes and you have to dig them to find his IP, at some point he stopped attacking -- which made the nodes stopped popping and no leads to find him. Technically you can find it in your terminal, but a lot of things are happening that it easily gets buried with no way to look back.
Aside from that small thing, it's incredibly well made for its scale. The soundtracks are good, the writing is great and made me invested, and the endings are satisfying. Especially the "best" ending.
To the author: You are amazing. Keep going. :D
i found your extension in the workshop and was surprised by its amazing.
But the language of this extension is English, so some Chinese lovers may have language barriers and cannot experience this extension, so I want to try to translate your extension, hoping to get your authorization qwq
has a great story, super unique additions such as voice logs, and some other amazing things you'll find in there!! I super strongly recommend this to anyone and everyone! :D
+rep to creator :DD
I've really enjoyed the extension, and in my way to see it should deserve more support.
Really good story, really good endings, really good tracks used, it's just fits really well.
Nodes usually could become a little repetitive, but it's just really incredibly how you can turn out the bad things into good decisions, really open to other routes.
The antagonist really, really well made, and just entertaining. Farewell, good extension...
That said: It is true. I really can't remember the last time an antagonist got me so invested. This is a lengthy extension the fact that I stayed up until two in the morning on a work night to get to the end goes to show how much I wanted to see how it ended.
If you haven't played this extension yet and I've somehow managed to convince you to play it (which you should!), I will say up front that THERE ARE CHOICES. I didn't know this the first time. If you don't want to do bad stuff, you don't have to do bad stuff. There are very satisfying ways around it, you just have to find them.
TL-DR:
This extension is very good and you should try it.
(Stupid 1000 character limit...)
I pushed an update, now there is a backup .exe so you could progress!
...I accidentally deleted the sequencer at the end. Do I have to start over a third time?
