I'm aware of that bug. Gonna fix it in 2.1, by making Amvira's Brutal Finisher cancel if her grabbed opponent mysteriously ceases to exist.
I've had that problem while she was in development. Originally, her "revert" animation would play a sound effect every five frames. It'd only crash while the window was minimized, but then it started to happen all the time. I "fixed" it by replacing it with one big explosion sound.
It seems to be related to the RoA engine itself and could be a performance issue?

amvira herself is pretty good (except her recovery), but the balrog form is GREAT.
