Is it possible to allow invitation from nomadic holdings?
Varainger 23. apr. kl. 7:52
IF anyone wants same culture and religion characters too, go into the mods decision file and add #'s in front of line 39 to 44 and 132 to 137.
The Renegade 7. okt. 2023 kl. 19:30
Any chance for a manual download option? Workshop isn't providing mod files despite being subscribed for multiple days.
(=VeerS=) 7. aug. 2023 kl. 5:38
Can't invite locals with my culture & religion. For my own realm, I can only invite locals with DIFFERENT culture or religion.
Galadrond 2. feb. 2022 kl. 19:42
Doesn't seem to work with the Elder Kings mod.
nikolaj-11 30. dec. 2021 kl. 7:24
Just wanted to say that this mod is really great as a quick fix for some of the shortcomings of the pagan "Enatic Clans" doctrine (which makes all the 'invite' options female, thus you can't easily spawn husbandos).

You haven't advertised it as such, you should consider mentioning it in your description. I'll just mention that I went ahead and edited the mod file so the checks for same religion/culture doesn't take place.

Does this work with HIP? I've been having a weird issue with vassal levies being at 0 due to "laws"
danskfred 20. dec. 2020 kl. 8:48
Every time I use this mod the game crashes after about 5 minutes.
StrayDogFreedom 18. nov. 2020 kl. 16:02
Yeah, that could also be the issue. I'll see if I can get it to work. Thanks!
buddy12847  [ophavsmand] 18. nov. 2020 kl. 14:16
You might be over the download limit for steam workshop mods. I'll try to get a direct download up.
StrayDogFreedom 18. nov. 2020 kl. 13:59
Would it be possible to get a Direct Download? Steam Workshop isn't working very well for me
buddy12847  [ophavsmand] 27. juli 2020 kl. 10:04
No it is not.
Vari 26. juli 2020 kl. 15:11
Is this mod achievement compatible?
Marakalos 24. juni 2020 kl. 11:28
for some odd reason, I can't get the mod to download for me or show up in my files/mod directory if it did. If anyone knows a remedy for this, that would be great.
coegho 14. juni 2020 kl. 15:49
I wasn't aware of this mod's existence, but I totally approve it. Thank you for giving credit
Voron 13. juni 2020 kl. 5:44
Could you please tell me, is this mod save compatible? I have a save with long run, don't want to start from the beginning again..
Human72 26. maj 2020 kl. 20:03
this is good having lowborns work in your court or be in the court helps alot especally when they come in to possitions of power and influence it will serve wonders for relations with people and reduces revolt risk or so.
Kap 26. maj 2020 kl. 14:16
You are a god for creating this mod.
buddy12847  [ophavsmand] 26. maj 2020 kl. 7:21
@aramat1 Yes, you have to use the decision to invite a noble or a holy man to court to get someone from your culture and religion.
aramat1 26. maj 2020 kl. 6:06
I cannot invite people who are both of my culture and religion.
Aurane 26. maj 2020 kl. 1:55
Great mod. I hope Paradox adds this as feature in CK3
MSgt Peterson 25. maj 2020 kl. 22:31
Than you sir have made the great mod possible :)
buddy12847  [ophavsmand] 25. maj 2020 kl. 22:20
You can currently invite lowborns from other provinces. If you wanted to invite an Italian from Italy when you are England, you can do that.
MSgt Peterson 25. maj 2020 kl. 14:57
So will you be able to invite lowborns from other providences in the future? Maybe If like your married to the over ruler or have an alliance with them? Like could I invite an Italian lowborn from italy when I'm in the uk? That be handy for the future.
buddy12847  [ophavsmand] 25. maj 2020 kl. 4:13
@suffa78 You could do that, but the people you invite will always be of your religion and culture.

@a-really-big-cat At the moment, it works with everything but nomad holding types.
Peter Griffin 24. maj 2020 kl. 23:08
you can just invite people of your culture with the invite noble, commander, etc decisions
a-really-big-cat 24. maj 2020 kl. 15:48
Which holding types does it work with?
buddy12847  [ophavsmand] 24. maj 2020 kl. 12:06
Ah okay, seems like an issue with CK2 or Steam.
PACIFIST🏴 24. maj 2020 kl. 11:43
Before I'd simply tried turning it on and off in the launcher menu.
PACIFIST🏴 24. maj 2020 kl. 11:42
For the record; fixing the issue for me involved removing the files from the folder before startup, then restarting the game once without them present, then again with, and now it is functional.
buddy12847  [ophavsmand] 24. maj 2020 kl. 11:39
It currently has to be a feudal holding to invite. Make sure you left click on the primary holding of the province you wish to invite a local from. If that doesn't work, tell me the specifics and I will see if I can help.
PACIFIST🏴 24. maj 2020 kl. 11:35
Isn't working for me? No option pops up.
buddy12847  [ophavsmand] 24. maj 2020 kl. 7:54
@KŁOS That makes more sense, a modifier to lower relations with feudal vassals makes more sense than a prestige hit.
CHINGO MAN 24. maj 2020 kl. 7:30
I think a small relationship penalty with direct vassals/nobleborn courtiers would make more sense on the basis mentioned. In my experience prestige hits are close to meaningless, especially for feudal rulers.
buddy12847  [ophavsmand] 24. maj 2020 kl. 7:18
@Varainger Cheers
Varainger 24. maj 2020 kl. 6:06
@TheOneTold
True, the original mod has the feature only for own demesne counties, as menditoned in the description. Sounds good to me and that you asked for permission.
Not your fault if you got no response. Keep going and all the best.
Cheers
Varainger 24. maj 2020 kl. 2:29
@TheOneTold
Admittedly it's only a single +, though these are not on the Workshop
or not anymore. I wasn't fully correct there, true.

Oh and the opther mod still works fine. No need for "allowing it to work again".
I hope you asked coegho for permission. That's common for Paradox mods.
If yes, fine. Have a good day then and ignore this post in that case.
buddy12847  [ophavsmand] 23. maj 2020 kl. 17:38
I don't think I have seen any mod use ++ in the title to hint at CK2Plus compatibility. If I wanted to hint that this mod is an expansion upon CK2Plus, I would have put "Plus" in the title, not "++"
buddy12847  [ophavsmand] 23. maj 2020 kl. 17:34
Lowborn just means born to a family of low societal status, that fits the definition of a peasant local. To your point, having a ++ in the name hints at an expansion of an idea.
Varainger 23. maj 2020 kl. 12:56
By the way ++ in a Ck2 mod name is usualy intended to hint at CK2PLus mod compatibility.
Appears you don't know that.
Varainger 23. maj 2020 kl. 12:55
Lowborns can also, if not for the most part, be seen as low nobility.
Obviously unless in a merchant republic or specified as not noble.
Just my two cents.
buddy12847  [ophavsmand] 23. maj 2020 kl. 10:14
@TheAuditor24 That sounds great! I'll add that to the upcoming features list.
TheAuditor24 23. maj 2020 kl. 8:46
Can you add a small prestige hit? Since i'm assuming nobility will be a little baffled at you being interested in lowborns.
ObscenelyOpaque 23. maj 2020 kl. 7:35
works like a charm :D thanks for the modernization of the mod
Mad Lad 23. maj 2020 kl. 6:58
sounds good, thanks
buddy12847  [ophavsmand] 23. maj 2020 kl. 5:16
Unfortunately I have not been able to get it to work with AGOT. I will do some rooting around in the code to see if anything conflicts with AGOT.
Mad Lad 23. maj 2020 kl. 2:57
This would be useful, but does it work with AGOT tho?
