And even then, the accuracy problem wasn't that bad. Most of those I've talked with that were issued the No.5 said they did experience some decreased accuracy from the short barrel, but the wondering zero wasn't that much of an issue to them.

I mean i do not care at all for what the civilians thought of the rifle,the soldiers thought it was awfully inaccurate and that's what concerns me for a military mod lol

Very much enjoy this mod, but I'm concerned with your history of the rifle's infamous wondering zero problem. This is very much an exaggration, usually attributed to rifles given to civilian gunsmiths who attempted to customize them for competitions by putting upward pressure on the end of the forestock, (much akin to the No.4 Mk.1, of which they were very familiar with). This resulted in shots, of course, falling all over the place, very much making it unsuitable for much of anything, let alone sport shooting.

And for the military side, the rifles bolt heads were ill-machined to fit the rifle, due to removing to as much metal as possible to lighten the weapon. These were deemed to be a design flaw that couldn't be fixed, but you'll encounter very many owners that actually enjoy great accuracy of their Lee-Enfields.

I do hope that you won't take this harshly, but it was something I was concerned about.
