Im sorry to say it but seeing my heavy melee infantry melt against medium spearmen ruins this mod for me, makes it totally unplayable

I dont know why but this submod doesn't work for me. I started a new campaign with carnutes with the submod above all other battle mods. the ai has some of the excact same units but when I hover over the stats, the units of the ai still got all of their buffs having all of their stats a lot higher than me

Oooh, thanks for replying. So if I understand correctly a hoplite shieldwall (because of the formation) gets lots of buffs like anti-large/anti-cav? I am not used to the fact that formations make such a difference when it comes to elite shock cav. Im used that they just obliterate almost everything except pikes and horse skirmishers.

IT only remove buffs in campaign difficulties NOT bonuses for weapon types and formation types.

I was wondering if there is anyway to check if the mod works, since i greek hoplite unit just completely obliterated my 2 elite carthaginian noble shock cav unit. Seems a bit odd to me.

In fact when you want the challenge of playing brain against brain (player vs player)
The faction we play is not impacted
But if I decide to play the battle of an AI controlled faction attacking my friend, I will play against him with much more powerful base units (higher base stat).
When you have a minimum of thinking, the battle can quickly become impossible in advance

Player vs player-is that not ai. Player will not get AI bonus-you say they do?

We don't understand each other, I never asked that WOTG become vanilla, on the contrary, it brings everything that the vanilla version lacked.

On a Player vs AI campaign, I don't care if units have better stats
But on a Player vs Player campaign with a friend, the difference in unit stats changes everything.

So WOTG is perfect for playing solo, I sincerely think so, but not yet multiplayer.

I try to make the fairest report, you are free to do what you want with it.

Dude you are barking up the wrong tree here-what you want to do is just play the vanilla game. There is nothing wrong in playing a multiplayer campaign in WOTG other than the AI fucking you up. This is not Vanilla Rome 2 and will never be ...ever.

Is it possible to make a mod that brings statistics to normal for units?

Because it's problematic for a multiplayer campaign

Especially if you want to keep the level of the campaign high without having to put it in easy difficulty

for unit statistics

Okey and thanks. But is not any submod for remove the different stats in same units for example the african slingers of the player has 170 of range but the IA african slingers has 196 of range, is that because the IA has at the beginning have the general on maximun level or what?

No what it removes is any bonuses from campaign difficulties. Units stats will vary by faction and unit experience and training etc.
