Can't move about on the Tornado, likely not the Serenity either, but haven't gotten to a point I can test it

Or unpack the archives with X Tools. ..\..\..\'X Tools'\XRCatTool.exe -in ext01.cat -out . in the mod directory.

Still the same place, you should see either ext_01.cat, ext_01.dat and content.xml, oder all the folders, if you extract them. Steam doesn't contain the folders anymore, you can find the sources on Nexus. Same version as on Steam. If you want to do changes, please delete ext_01.dat and ext_01.cat from the nexus version.

Small problem, now that Ive resubscribed and building it in a new game, since v7.5, there doesn't seem to be an assets folder in the serenity folder. Where is the data kept now??

Updated for 7.5. Not sure, if I will throw out more mods in the near future.

Only launches like 5 drones at a time, even with highly skilled crew.

I tried to reproduce that problem, but I could apply all kind of turrets. With unrestricted Earlking even the Erlking turrets.
Maybe a conflict with another mod? If I know the other mod, I can fix this.

cool mod but kinda pointless if they can't use it and i think it makes no sense for the s;it ship to not be sold in a split shipyard .. i would rather see the argon quazar beefed uo cuz it a cool looking fighter ...well my thoughts on it ;p

Hi, thank you for the great mods.
So far i've tested a few:
Serenity, PointOf and Tornado seem to work fine now.
Althea works fine, but can't install any turrets.
Leopard and Miranda again seem to work fine, but can instal only missile turrets for both L and M slots.
In my current playthrough i could test only these ships.

its the serenity_data folder that contains all the ship collision meshes, looks like you can just copy all the ones from the base game without needing any edits or renaming

Update for 6.0 in place. Need to check that data folder thing still though. Engines and shields fixed.

should probly use new ship.xml just in case of minor edits

the only change for ships are the ship data folder & ship data.ANI (Full replacement needed) , engines & shields get "standard" at the end of the affix and turrets get "combat"

Are You Normal ? 99% of mods will not work, especially ships and stations, for version 6.0.

Either play a pure 6.0 game or 5.10 with old mods.

anyone else having issues trying to dock 30 M class ships? i can get 4 in. 2 vikings and 2 vipers (Vipers from are from another mod)

The Serenity is amazing Love this Ship. fast 24L turrets + 6 Weapons heavy power but the rotationspeed sucks a bit. is there any chance to improve that a bit. feels like ages to take turn.
some like 50% faster would be nice and thx for all the nice mods you done really great work

Dein Mod hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Aber es gibt eine kleine Inkonsistenz im Tornado-Kämpfer. Er entpuppte sich als kleiner Nerd. Bitte nicht beleidigt sein. Aber seine Geschwindigkeit ist exorbitant. Es ist unmöglich, den Flug im Universum zu genießen. Er rast wie ein Blitz durch die Sektoren, man hat keine Zeit sich umzusehen. Ich habe eine kleine Bitte an Sie. Ist es möglich, die Geschwindigkeitsparameter eines Jägers zu ändern? Oder sie zumindest trennen. Das Schlachtschiff ist separat und der Jäger ist separat. Wenn möglich. Bitte seien Sie nicht böse auf diese Bitte. Mit Respekt und den besten Wünschen, Sergey.

Ouch, this is a bit over my head, sorry about this. I did this once, and the ship didn't fit in any shipyards anymore.

this ship is so great i love it!
and if you can could you make it size biger? like twice compare to origin
so it can fit more platform and launcher for S/M ships~

Not sure, how to do this, I could replace the raptor with this, but then there would be no more raptor. I never placed any npcs on a ship so far. I will have a look, but got not much hope.

Prima, werde sie eh demnächst erst wieder bauen müssen, da ich da ich neu gestartet habe.
Werde aber auch mal wieder etwas mehr mit kleineren Schiffen unterwegs sein, dann ist die Serenity z.B. für's Grobe oder zum Chillen und M oder S für die Action mit meinem neuen Thrustmaster T.16000m FCS HOTAS ;)

Das mit dem Radar geht auch mit der Serenity, ggf. muss man sie aber neu bauen. VRO geht, man braucht kein inneres Schild mehr.

Super und Danke dafür, es ist halt ein klarer Vorteil mehr sehen zu können. Ich muß allerdings zugeben, dass der Raptor einer der wenigen ist, die so weit sehen können, für mich war das immer ein ganz klarer Pluspunkt und eines der Kriterien warum er bislang mein Favorit war. ;)

Ein "FROHES NEUES JAHR", der "Raptor" war bisher mein Liebling und er hat auch jetzt noch einen Vorteil gegenüber deinem "Serenity", er sieht mit seinem "High-End" 85km Radar einfach mehr, die 40km des "Serenity" erinnern da doch eher an Frachter oder Jäger, abgesehen davon sind es zwei klasse "EasyLife" Schiffe!

Another way around this is to get a mod that increases or doubles the cargo cap

funny thing is that the shipyard will most likely start to build an XL size after you bork the other 2 L fabs ...... this is why you hardly see any cap ships anywhere

Ah, that makes sense, thanks. I also looked up the issue online and apparently it's a problem with the base game as well, I managed to solve a similar problem more recently by ordering something the shipyard could afford then re-ordering the thing I couldn't afford while it was building, so it's almost certainly a problem with the game logic, so for anyone who might have been put off by my previous comment, the mod works fine.

The issue with building the Serenity is that the shipyard dose not separate the resources between the large ship docks and the XL one so it will keep pumping out large ships and never build a fully decked out Serenity cause the shipyard cant hold that many resources,

To do this you need to build Serenity with basically nothing on it, dock 2 large ships in the other docks and tell them to remain docked > then order a min specked Serenity to be built, this will force it to work, after it completes re-dock the Serenity and fill it out.
